Hi, its bewk, and I have a few 'queries' into the effects of a couple of cards. Some of these questions are to verify my thoughts. Please make sure to explain your answers thouroghly...Well, here's my questions:
- I have a ATK position Gladiator Beast Andal, and set MST. My opponent has Zombie World active, and activates Brain Control to steal my Glad to sac it for Red-Eyes Zombie Dragon. I flip MST, kill Zombie World, and stop the Tribute Summon. What happens to my Andal?
- I have a set Book of Moon, and my opponent starts to attack. The Book flips, and so does my opponents monster. Can he still flip his monster face-up and attack?
- What Spell Speed is Exodia the Forbidden One's effect?
- Does Gladiator Beast War Chariot negate the effects of Golden Ladybug or Kuriboh?
- Does Gladiator Beast War Chariot negate the effects of Sangan, Giant Rat, and the like?
Thank you for your answers. God knows I need them... --bewk 05:35, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
- 1) Mystical Space Typhoon resolves first and destroys Zombie World, Brain Control resolves and Gladiator Beast Andal switched control. The opponent cannot tribute Gladiator Beast Andal for Red-Eyes Zombie Dragon (by his effect) because Andal isn't a Zombie-type monster anymore.
- 2) If your opponent attack, that means he is already in the Battle Step of the Battle Phase. The only actions you can do here are: declare an attack, activate a spell speed 2 or higher effect, move to the End Step. You cannot flip monsters during the Battle Phase, so your opponent have to wait until Main Phase 2 to flip the monster face-up again, but the Battle Phase will have passed and he cannot declare another attack this turn.
- 3) Exodia's win is a condition and it cannot be chained to, so it doesn't have spell speed. ATEMVEGETA (Talk) 06:11, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
- 1) Um, it depends.
- Under most circumstances, you cannot. Once your opponent Tributes your monster, the cost has already been paid, so "Red-Eyes Zombie Dragon" will be Special Summoned.
- If you wanted to activate "Mystical Space Typhoon", you would have to do it in chain to "Brain Control" (or in response to the Chain resolving, but that's a different story, so forget I said anything). If you allow it to resolve and your opponent to Tribute your monster, then it's too late to activate "Mystical Space Typhoon".
