Card Tips:Wulf, Lightsworn Beast

- This card can be searched by "Soul Rope", "Resonator Engine", "Vampire Dragon", "Summoner Monk", "Photon Veil", "Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Tiger King", "Fire Formation - Tenki" and "Charge of the Light Brigade". However, "Wulf" in the hand is almost a dead draw, so searching this card would be useless.
- You can Special Summon this card easily using "Foolish Burial". Also, if you already have 1 face-up "Wulf, Lightsworn Beast", you can activate "Next to be Lost" to Special Summon one more from your deck.
- Another easy way to Special Summon this card is by the effect of "Marauding Captain", "Familiar Knight" or "Ancient Fairy Dragon".
- The effects of the other Lightsworn monsters will aid in the summoning of "Wulf, Lightsworn Beast".
- Since this card cannot be normal summoned, it's effectively useless in your hand. Use "Magical Mallet" or "Reload" to return it to the deck and to draw some cards. You can also use other cards that discard cards to get rid of this such as "Lightning Vortex" or "Raigeki Break". "Solar Recharge" can also be useful for removing this card from your hand, then it can be brought back with "Glorious Illusion".
- While "Plaguespreader Zombie" is in your Graveyard, and Wulf is in your hand, you can place "Wulf" on the top of your Deck to summon "Plaguespreader Zombie", and Synchro summon something. Then, at the end of your turn, when you mill for a Lightsworn, you will mill "Wulf", and that will give you a powerful Synchro monster along with a "Wulf".
- You can also activate "Charge of the Light Brigade" instead of waiting until the End Phase. This will also enable you to use "Wulf, Lightsworn Beast" as a Synchro Material Monster, along with "Plaguespreader Zombie". Since both were Special Summoned, you can Normal Summon the monster added to your hand by the effect of "Charge of the Light Brigade". If you picked a "Lumina, Lightsworn Summoner", you can use her effect to special summon "Lyla, Lightsworn Sorceress", then use her effect and Synchro summon for "Mist Wurm" or any other level 5, 6, 9 or 10 Synchro Monster (of course any other "Lightsworn"-monster instead of "Lyla, Lightsworn Sorceress" will do.
- This is a good card to discard with "Lumina, Lightsworn Summoner's effect.
Traditional Format
- This card can be searched by "Witch of the Black Forest".
- Sent this card to the graveyard by Future Fusion's effect to Fusion Summon "Elemental HERO The Shining".
- You can use "Painful Choice" to send 1 or more "Wulf, Lightsworn Beast(s)" and other cards to the Graveyard to perform a possible OTK.
