- This card's name could be based on the Hercules beetle, similar to how the other "Steelswarm" monsters are named after insects or stages of an insect's life.
- This is the first "Steelswarm" monster that needs 3 "Steelswarm" monster as a tribute.
- This card's Summoning condition is very similar to the legalize "Egyptian Gods", "Wicked Gods", and "Raviel, Lord of Phantasms" (from the Sacred Beasts).
- This card's effect is similar to "Judgment Dragon" and "Demise, King of Armageddon".
- This card is featured in "Infestation Tool".
- This card can be seen as an exact opposite of "Vylon Omega".
- Both are Level 10 with 3200 ATK.
- Both requires exactly 3 monsters to be Summoned.
- "Steelswarm Hercules" is a DARK Fiend while "Vylon Omega" is a LIGHT Fairy.
- "Steelswarm Hercules" can only be Normal Summoned while "Vylon Omega" can only be Special Summoned.
