- This is the Cover Card of Order of Chaos.
- Contradicting with its name, "Chaos" doesn't really flow with "Utopia" or "Hope" (Japanese name of "Utopia"), which is probably why it's the Cover Card for Order of Chaos.
- But its effect may follow the name due to the fact that it can only be Xyz summoned if you have less then 1000 Life points and can save you as shown in episode 18.
- Contradicting with its name, "Chaos" doesn't really flow with "Utopia" or "Hope" (Japanese name of "Utopia"), which is probably why it's the Cover Card for Order of Chaos.
- This card is the first "Chaos Number" monster. Also, this card is the first alternate form of "Utopia" like many of the protagonists' ace monsters.
- This is similar to how Yugi fused "Dark Magician" with "Buster Blader" to form "Dark Paladin", Jaden fused "Elemental HERO Flame Wingman" and "Elemental HERO Sparkman" to form "Elemental HERO Shining Flare Wingman" or his "Elemental HERO Neos" with the "Neo-Spacians", and Yusei tuned "Stardust Dragon" with "Majestic Dragon" and another Level 1 monster to form "Majestic Star Dragon" or tuned with "Formula Synchron" to form "Shooting Star Dragon". This card is Yuma's evolutionary Xyz Monster.
- This card is the first Xyz Monster to use another Xyz Monster as its Xyz Material.
- It is also the first Xyz Monster to name a specific monster needed for Xyz Material.
- It is also the first Xyz Monster to need only one Xyz Material.
- This card is the only Nomi Xyz "Number" Monster so far.
- This card is the only monster that requires a certain amount of Life Points to summon.
- Before using its effect, "Utopia Ray" is black and after using its effect, it's white, symbolizing LIGHT and DARK and how previously "Chaos" monsters required LIGHT and DARK monsters to be summoned.
- This cards effect is the opposite of its counterpart, utopia's effect is to defend while utopia ray's is to attack
