  • In episode 131, this card is shown in a flashback Jaden has when he remembers that Jesse stayed behind in the alternate dimension so that he could keep the portal open long enough for Duel Academy to return to Earth. Jaden then realizes that what happened was his fault as he was the one who sent Yubel to space, which caused the chain of events to occur up until now.
  • Later on, in Episode 149, Jesse while possessed by Yubel uses this card in his duel against Adrian Gecko. He summons it via "Dimension Fusion Destruction". Adrian reminds him that "Armityle"'s effect can't hit Exodius, but Jesse then uses this card's effect to switch control of this card. On the End Phase, this card's effect banished "Exodius" and then it returned to Jesse's side. Later Adrian attacks this card with "Fog King" and then uses the latter's effect to reduce both battling monsters' ATK to 1. Jesse reminds Adrian that this card can't be destroyed by battle, but Adrian then uses "Fog Castle" to place "Fog King" in a different Monster Card Zone, but the zone that "Fog King" was previously is forbidden from being used. Since "Fog King" negates the effects of any other monster out, this card is destroyed by "Fog King"'s attack. In this Duel, Armityle has another effect. This effect was called Null-Vision Rashomon in the original version and Phantom of Fury in the English dub.
  • In Episode 175, this card is seen during a flashback of episode 130.
  • In the dub, it is called Chaos Phantasm Armityle and its attack is called Transmigration Wave. In the original, the attack is Henseiha (変成刃 Metamorphosis Wave). Exactly what its attack looks like is never seen since it's never shown completely. All that's seen about the appearance of its attack is that creates a giant black and lavender orb. Also, Armityle's Attack Score did not actually become 10,000. Rather, it inflicted 10,000 points of battle damage on an opposing monster via its effect without actually attacking (as its true Attack Score remained zero).
