- In episode 23, Kite Tenjo uses this card during his Duel against Astral. He Tribute Summons this card by Tributing "Reverse Buster". Kite then activates this card's effect to return all cards in Astral's hand to his Deck and force him to draw cards equal to the number of cards returned. Kite then equips this card with "Photon Spear", which grants this card the ability to inflict piercing damage. This card then attacks and destroys "Gogogo Giant". This card then inflicts piercing damage to Astral. In the next episode, "Number 39: Utopia" attacks and destroys this card, however Kite activates "Armored Back" to revive this card and re-equip it with "Photon Spear". Later Kite Tributes this card in order to Special Summon "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" (due to the second effect of "Photon Spear", this card counts as two Tributes).
- In episode 38, this card appears in a series of flashbacks Yuma Tsukumo has when he recognizes "Photon Papilloperative" belonging to the same kind of monsters Kite uses.
