• This card can be Special Summoned from the Graveyard with "Iron Call", which can also help access this card's effect at the end of your turn.

• Being an EARTH Attribute Machine-Type monster, this card makes a nice addition to "Ancient Gear"-based Decks, as it can recycle "Geartown" for future usage.

• If the effect of "Gigaplant" is used to Special Summon "Copy Plant" while "Geartown" and "Mine-Field" are on your field, "Black Rose Dragon" can be Synchro Summoned. Use the effect of "Geartown" to Summon "Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Dragon", and then use the effect of "Minefieldriller" to add "Geartown" back to your hand.

• Retrieve an "Umi" or "A Legendary Ocean" as soon as this card is destroyed with the effect of "Levia-Dragon - Daedalus" or "Ocean Dragon Lord - Neo-Daedalus", so that it can be powered up and use its effect again later.

• Use "Abyss Soldier" to return this monster to your hand to recycle its effect. It is increasingly useful to discard "Warrior of Atlantis" when knowing all of your "A Legendary Ocean" cards are in the Graveyard. It is basically trading a WATER monster for "Minefieldriller" and "A Legendary Ocean" in your hand, and a loss of the ability of "Abyss Soldier" for a turn (made a moot point when "Codarus" is used).

• Use the effect of "Wattpheasant" to remove this card and gain its effect over and over again.
