• This card's effect in the anime activates only when an opponent's monster declares an attack and you take battle damage equal to more than half of your life points. After activation, the player special summons this card in Defense Position and is treated as an Effect Monster Card (Aqua-Type/WATER/Level 10/ATK 0/DEF ?) and this card's DEF becomes 3/4 of the ATK of the monster that attacked. This card itself cannot attack.

• In episode 140, Yami Marik uses this card during his Duel against Yami Yugi. After "Obelisk the Tormentor" attacks directly, Yami Marik activates this card. This card then became a duplicate of "Obelisk the Tormentor" with DEF equal to 3/4 of "Obelisk the Tormentor's" ATK. Later Yami Marik activates "Polymerization" to fuse this card with "Revival Jam" in order to Fusion Summon "Egyptian God Slime", whose ATK and DEF became equal to this card's DEF.
