- This card was first used in the DEATH-T Duel of the original manga and first series anime. Yugi destroyed Kaiba's Hitotsu-Me Giant with this monster. It was attacked by The Wicked Worm Beast, but the Winged Dragon's flying effect activated successfully:
- (this is the only time that this effect was used). It was later defeated by a powered Saggi the Dark Clown.
- Likewise, Yugi uses this card on the first duel of the second series anime, which is based on the DEATH-T Duel.
- Yugi next used this card during the Duelist Kingdom saga against Mokuba Kaiba. It destroyed both Mokuba's Man-Eating Plant and Krokodilus.
- He later uses it in his duels with Panik and Maximillion Pegasus.
- He is seen drawing this during his duel with Mai Valentine.
