OCG Rulings
- The effect that allows level 3 or lower Sea Serpent-Type monsters to attack directly is a Continuous effect.[1]
- If the level of "Atlantean Dragon Rider" is reduced by 1 by the effect of "A Legendary Ocean", "Atlantean Dragon Rider" itself can also attack the opponent directly.[1]
- The effect that adds a Sea Serpent-Type monster other than "Atlantean Dragon Rider" from the Deck to the hand is a Trigger Effect.[1]
- If an Xyz Monster you control activates its effect, "Number 19: Freezerdon" applies its effect that detaches 1 Xyz Material from itself instead when an Xyz Monster you control activates its effect, and an "Atlantean Dragon Rider" treated as an Xyz Material is detached, since that "Atlantean Dragon Rider" is not treated as being sent to the Graveyard to activate the effect of a WATER monster, its effect that adds 1 Sea Serpent-Type monster from the Deck to your hand except "Atlantean Dragon Rider" cannot be activated.[2]

In this situation, if "Number 19: Freezerdon" applies its effect that detaches 1 Xyz Material from itself instead when an Xyz Monster you control activates its effect by detaching 1 Xyz Material, and the "Atlantean Dragon Rider" treated as an Xyz Material is detached, can the effect of that "Atlantean Dragon Rider" be activated?
