OCG Rulings
- This effect cannot be activated during the Damage Step.[1]
- If "Book of Moon" is activated in a chain to the effect of "Flashing Carat Dragon - Stardust", so that the target monster of the effect of "Flashing Carat Dragon - Stardust" has been flipped face-down when the effect resolves, the effect of "Flashing Carat Dragon - Stardust" that prevents the targeted card from being destroyed once this turn is still applied. Also, if a monster was targeted by the effect of "Flashing Carat Dragon - Stardust" that prevents the targeted card from being destroyed once this turn and afterwards it is flipped face-down by the effect of "Book of Moon", the effect of "Flashing Carat Dragon - Stardust" is no longer applied.[2]
- Even if the targeted card affected by the effect of "Flashing Carat Dragon - Stardust" that prevents it from being destroyed once this turn is not destroyed in battle or by a card effect this turn, the effect of "Flashing Carat Dragon - Stardust" is applied until the end of that turn.[3]
- If the effect of "Skill Drain" is applied after the effect of "Flashing Carat Dragon - Stardust" is applied, the effect of "Flashing Carat Dragon - Stardust" that was already applied is not negated, and the effect that prevents the targeted card from being destroyed once this turn is applied as usual.[4]
