• This can be activated after "Darklord Zerato" is destroyed from using its field clearing effect.

• This card can also be activated after "Winged Kuriboh LV10" tributes itself and destroys all your opponent's monsters, inflicting massive damage to them and leaving them wide open for attack.

• You can Normal Summon a Level 8 monster by paying 2000 Life Points while "Mausoleum of the Emperor" is on the field. Then if the monster is destroyed activate this card.
  • You can even Summon an "Earthbound Immortal" monster, then use a Spell destruction card like "Mystical Space Typhoon" to activate this card.

• This card may be easily activated by just activating "The Wicked Eraser's" effect, then you may gain a devastating advantage.

• Use this card with "Stardust Dragon", "Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode" or "Majestic Star Dragon" to negate one of your opponent's card effects and then get "Berserk Dragon" on the field.

• Summon "Lava Golem" to your opponent's field, then follow up by summoning "Relinquished" and take it as a Spell Card. Attack with Relinquished for 3000 damage, then "Mystical Space Typhoon" your "Lava Golem", followed by this card to summon "Berserk Dragon" for 3500 more. (Though not necessarily on the same turn.)

• When you opponent activates "Lightning Vortex", use "Call of the Haunted" to bring back a Level 8+ monster, then activate this card to summon "Berserk Dragon".

• "Phoenixian Cluster Amaryllis" makes it easy to fulfill this card's requirements
• You can combo this card with a high Level Dragon deck, once one of your Dragons are removed you can activate this card.

• You can use "Spell Calling" to Set this card on the Field.

• Use "Advance Draw" to send 1 Level 8+ Monster you control to Grave, after this, Draw 2 Card and you can active this card to summon "Berserk Dragon".

• This card can be useful in a "Malefic" deck since most malefic monsters are level 8 and higher.

• You can use this card following the clearing effect of "Black Rose Dragon" to allow "Berserk Dragon" to attack your opponent directly. (Just beware of "Gorz the Emissary of Darkness")

• If you're running a Ritual Monster Deck, your deck will inevitably be filled with level 8 monsters. If you Ritual Summon a level 8 Ritual Monster from your hand by tributing another level 8 Ritual Monster on the field, you can use this card afterwards to get a free "Berserk Dragon" to clear out your opponent's monsters without losing any field presence.
