• This card can be searched by "Single Purchase", "Painful Escape", "Aratama", "Resonator Engine", "Vampire Dragon", "Chaos Zone", "Photon Veil" and "Cyber Angel Benten".

• "Strike Slash", "H - Heated Heart", "Big Bang Shot", "Metalmorph", "Curse of Anubis", "Blackwing Armor Master", "Armory Arm", "Ebon Arrow", "Armed Changer" and "Honest" maximize the ATK of this card to creating a possibles OTKs. Also, the drawback from being returned to the hand at the End Phase can be used in conjuction with the effect of "Athena" to deal 600 points of Damage every single turn.

• "Nightmare Archfiends", "Ojama Trio" and "Revival Gift" combined create eight tokens, allowing you to attack eight times with "Asura Priest". With attack boosts, it can devastate the opponent's life points dealing massive Damage in each of the battles and extra Burn Damage for each destroyed tokens of "Nightmare Archfiends" and "Ojama Trio".
  • An even simpler combo is to combine this card with "Ojama Trio" and "Level Limit - Area A". It can inflict 6,000 points of damage in a single battle phase.

• Activate "Curse of Anubis", then Summon this card and equip it with "Big Bang Shot" (or even "Sword of Kusanagi"). Attack each of the opponent's monsters and it will deal 2100 damage per destroyed monster (plus 1700 from "Sword of Kusanagi").

• Use this card to overwhelm any monster that Special Summons another one from the Hand/Deck (such as the Elemental Searchers, "Cyber Larva", "Nova Summoner", etc), since this card will be able to attack any monster that is Summoned during the Battle Phase.

• Summon this card and use "Creature Swap" to take one of opponent's monsters. At the end of that turn, "Asura Priest" returns to the hand.

• Activate "Final Attack Orders" then chain it with "Ojama Trio". Have this card equipped with a very strong equip card, e.g ("United We Stand", "Mage Power") and attack all the Tokens. Every time, it destroy an Ojama Token, the opponent loses 300. The best one to use is either "Axe of Despair" or "Black Pendant", as both these ensure an OTK.
  • Or simple replace "Final Attack Orders" with "Big Bang Shot" to give him a piercing effect.

• If the opponent activates "Scapegoat", it is possible to countering by equipping "Asura Priest" with "Big Bang Shot" to dealing exactly 8,400 damage.

• This and the other Spirit monsters can easily counter the effect of "Light and Darkness Dragon". Since returning Spirit monsters to the hand during the End Phase is obligatory, "Light and Darkness Dragon" will negate it effect again and again until his DEF is too low.

• Using this card with "Honest" will stop opponents lockdown with "Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8", "Jinzo" and "Destiny HERO - Plasma", and if the opponent has any other monster in attack position (like "Prime Material Dragon") it will make an OTK (remember to attack first "Destiny HERO - Plasma" so be sure to get this card's effect to attack all other monsters).

• In an Aggro Deck, this monster may be useful, by using "Mage Power", "Royal Decree" and "Burden of the Mighty". This monster may create a devastating attack flush against your opponent.

• This card works well when both "Dark Mirror Force" and "Curse of Anubis" are included in your deck.

• Use "Marshmallon" and "Arcana Force 0 - The Fool" (or even "Spirit Reaper" if it's not focus only on Light Fairies) to protect the Life Points from direct attacks. Or Summon "Gorz the Emissary of Darkness" after the field is clear on the owner's End Phase.

• Use "Luminous Spark" to boost this card's attack. If it is possible, use "Solidarity" instead to avoid boosting the opponent's monsters' attack (unless it's required to weaken their defense of course). Also, with "Solidarity", it will boost other Fairies too and this card become able to destroy even a "Monarch".

• This card works well in a Perfect Herald deck, because once the owner have "Herald of Perfection" and "Archlord Kristya" on the field and totally locked down, summon this card, clear the opponent's side of the field of monsters (especially if "Honest" is in the hand), then attack directly with "Archlord Kristya". At the end phase, it will go back to the hand, which could fueling the effect of "Herald of Perfection".
