• This card can be searched by "Serpentine Princess", "Vampire Dragon", "Rai-Mei", "Photon Veil", "Nova Summoner", "Shining Angel", "Where Arf Thou?" and "One for One".

• This card's effect does not account for Set monsters, allowing players to partially get around its Summoning limitations.
• If used in tandem with "Light of Intervention" and/or "Dark Simorgh" (summoned before "Consecrated Light") and "Anti-Spell Fragrance", this combo can completely shut down "Blackwing", "Ally of Justice" Decks, as well as the majority of cards in Zombie Decks.

• This card's ability is a great way to slow down your opponent from summoning powerful DARK monsters like "Dark Armed Dragon".

• This card helps protect "Lightsworn" monsters when your opponent uses DARK monsters.

• This card can actually lock down the effect of "Plaguespreader Zombie", keeping it in your opponent's Graveyard and unable to be Special Summoned by its own effect.

• This card can also severely hurt players who use any of the "Earthbound Immortal" cards. All of them are DARK-Attribute and can be Special Summoned as well as Normal Summoned.
• This card will also shut down Infernity decks.

• "Yubel" and its forms cannot be summoned while this card is face up on the field, making its effects worthless when it is destroyed.

• This card can effectively break most modern Dragon Decks that rotate around "Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon".

• Use this card in combination with "DNA Transplant" by selecting DARK-Attribute. This may keep both you and your opponent from attacking, but it may be useful in stalling. To prevent yourself from locking your own attacks, use "Elemental HERO Wildheart", as he is immune to the effect of trap cards like "DNA Transplant".
  • You can also use it alongside "Sanguine Swamp" Lockdown.

• Protect this card from non-DARK monsters with "Safe Zone", "Heart of Clear Water" or "Mist Body".

• This card provides protection from "Ally of Justice" monsters.

• If this card gets onto the field after it, the effect of "Brain Golem" cancels out the effects of "Consecrated Light"; otherwise, "Brain Golem" would have to be set or Special Summoned face-down, then Flip Summoned, in order to cancel out the effect of "Consecrated Light".
