- This card can be searched via "An Owl of Luck" and "Terraforming".
- You can use this card to prevent Spirit Monsters from going back to the hand, as once they are summoned they are removed from play; then, by next turn, they are put back onto the field and they are not considered special summoned. Also, theoretically, one could make a risky Summon Lockdown strategy by combining this card with something that stops Special Summons.
- This card works well with "Fortune Lady Light". You can Remove from play "Fortune Lady Light" to Special Summon "Fortune Lady Fire" and destroy an opponent's monster.
- This card can stop Spellcasters that gain Spell Counters when they are Normal Summoned, such as "Breaker the Magical Warrior".
- "Zeta Reticulant" can be used with this card to gain advantage.
- This card works well with "Gandora the Dragon of Destruction".
- "Earthbound Immortal Aslla Piscu" works well with this card.
- If your opponent normal summons a monster and "Future Visions'" effect activates, you can attack with "Falcon of Mist Valley" on the next turn and get "Future Visions" back, so when you play it again, the opponent's monster won't come back since "Future Visions" left the field.
- Works with "Necroface" since it removes "Necroface" from play, activating the effect of removing from play the top 5 cards of both players' Decks. However, "Necroface" will not gain extra ATK from its first effect when it returns to the field.
- If you want to Normal Summon and also keep a monster on the field so you don't leave yourself wide open, a good option is "Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6" as it is not effected by Spell Cards.
- Using "D.D. Trap Hole" with this card allows field control. If you opponent doesn't summon a monster for it to be removed, then setting the monster would remove it as well, albeit, if you have a monster, and to a plus, the removed monster is not coming back.
- Along with the option above , use this card with "D.D. Scout Plane" and "D.D. Survivor to maintain field presence.
- A player can still Set, Flip Summon or Special Summon. If you want your monster to stay, it would be wise to possibly Set it instead of summoning it face-up, then Flip Summon it during your next turn or use cards like "Book of Taiyou" or a combo between "Ceasefire" and "Final Attack Orders" and possibly "Light of Intervention".
- When this card is in play, if you Normal Summon "Beast King Barbaros" without a Tribute, its ATK will be reset back to 3000 when it returns to the field after being removed. This can also be done with "Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast".
- "Light of Intervention" or "Dark Simorgh" will prevent the opponent from trying to set their monsters in an attempt to avoid the effect of "Future Visions".
- Combine this card with "Giant Trunade" so your opponent's monster doesn't return. Then you can normal summon your monster and activate "Future Visions" afterwards.
- This card can disrupt/delay many "Blackwing" combos/strategies. If you activate it during the first turn, it will disrupt combos such as "Blackwing - Sirocco the Dawn" combined with "Black Whirlwind" since they cannot Special Summon the "Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind" or "Blackwing - Bora the Spear" without a Blackwing on the field.
- This card disrupts 'One Card Synchro' cards such as "Debris Dragon", "Blackwing - Blizzard the Far North" and "Alien Ammonite".
- Combine this with "Soul Absorption" to gain life points every time a monster is Normal Summoned.
- This card is deadly against Gemini Monsters. Gemini Summons are treated as Normal Summons thus removing the monster from play. When the Gemini Monster returns, it will still be treated as a Normal Monster.
- "Non-Spellcasting Area" can be used to maintain field presence if you plan to normal summon Normal Monsters or Gemini Monsters.
- This card is deadly against cards that must be Tribute Summoned to activate their Continuous effects because a Tribute Summon is still considered a Normal Summon. This can stop cards such as "Angel O7".
- You can use this card to prevent a card you summoned from being destroyed by your own "Dark Hole" or other Field Clearing card.
