- This card can be searched by "Soul Rope", "Resonator Engine", "Vampire Dragon", "Summoner Monk", "Photon Veil", "Dragunity Knight - Gae Dearg", "Tempest, Dragon Ruler of Storms", "Hieratic Seal of Convocation" and "Hieratic Dragon King of Atum".
- Target this card with an effect of your own that doesn't destroy it.
- Use "Lightwave Tuning"'s effect on this card, and then Special Summon a Level 4 Normal Monster (Like "Alexandrite Dragon") with its own effect. Then, Synchro Summon for a quick Level 8 Synchro. (Or a Rank 4 Xyz).
- Special Summon a Level 6 Normal Monster (Like Luster Dragon #2) with its own effect. Then, Synchro Summon for "Trident Dragion"
- Special Summon a Level 7 Normal Monster (Like Red-Eyes B. Dragon) with its own effect. Then, Synchro Summon for "Star Eater"
