- This card is very useful to counter opponents' card effects that would destroy your monsters. For example, the opponent summons "Exiled Force" and Tributes it to activate its effect, targeting a monster on your field. You can activate this card in response and banish that monster temporarily, causing your opponent to needlessly destroy a monster without any permanent effect.
- This card can be used to prevent your own monsters from being destroyed or removed from the field by their own effects, such as "Jurrac Meteor" (whose effect is mandatory if Synchro Summoned), "Black Rose Dragon", or the the "Majestic Mech" monsters.
- Chaining this card to your own destructive cards, such as "Dark Hole" and "Torrential Tribute" can also prevent the destruction of your own monsters while eliminating your opponent's.
- This card can be used to dodge the negative effects of cards such as "Fake Hero", "Ritual Foregone", "Instant Fusion", "Return from the Different Dimension", and "The Seal of Orichalcos" (should you have a Special Summoned monster you wish to protect).
- Use this card on any "LV" monster which Levels during your Standby Phase to ensure their survival.
- Summon "Beast King Barbaros" or "Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast" without any Tributes and then play "Interdimensional Matter Transporter" to banish them and then bring them back with their original ATK.
- Use this card on "Earthbound Immortal Aslla piscu" to wipe out your opponent's field and leave them with nothing.
- Consider attacking directly with "Earthbound Immortal Aslla piscu" first in order to do considerable damage.
- Use this card to reset any high-ATK monsters' ATK you summoned that was halved while "Black Garden" is on the field.
- Use this card to remove "Fortune Lady Light" from the field, in order to activate its effect.
- Use this card with "Necroface" to activate its card-banishing effect.
- Use this card with "Elemental HERO Absolute Zero" to activate its effect and destroy all of your opponent's monsters.
- Use this card on "Shooting Quasar Dragon" after his attack(s) (or when your opponent attacks), to banish it temporarily, and get a free "Shooting Star Dragon".
- Banish a "Dragon Ruler" monster during the opponent's turn to use the searching effect. When it is returned to the field, it won't return to your hand at the end of the turn, since you can only use one "Dragon Ruler" effect per turn.
- An example; If your opponent uses "Caius the Mega Monarch" on your "Grapha, Dragon Lord of Dark World", Use this card to fail your opponent and safeguard your most precious Dark World Monster
