Card Tips:Kinka-byo
Revision as of 09:51, 8 May 2011 by Zygaphorym (talk) (Removed the Substitoad-based tip as that monster is Forbidden and the tip is not viable for competitive play)
- Use this card with Ultimate Offering. That way, you can summon this card and use it's ability to Special Summon another card. Then you can use Ultimate Offering to summon a stronger Spirit Monster, like Yamata Dragon or Hino-Kagu-Tsuchi.
- Notable monsters that can be Summoned with "Kinka-byo" include:
- "Relinquished" - it can steal an opponent's monster and attack directly, and when it is removed from play the opponent's monster goes with it.
- "Thousand-Eyes Restrict" - same as the combo for Relinquished. This one is banned in advanced format.
- "Destiny Hero - Disk Commander" - you draw 2 cards. This is also banned in advanced format.
- "Cyber Valley" - remove Kinka-Byo and Cyber Valley to draw 2 cards, giving you a +1 in advantage.
- "Copycat" - you can use Copycat to suicide an opponent's big monster. Thus, Copycat gets back in your graveyard; because Kinka-Byo returns to your hand, you can repeat this combo again and again.
- "Red-Eyes B. Chick" - tribute it to Special Summon the powerful Red-Eyes B. Dragon.
- "Fortune Lady Light" - when Kinka-Byo returns itself to the hand in the end phase, Light is removed from play and you can Special Summon a Fortune Lady from your Deck. This also sets up for Fortune's Future, which would allow the combo to be repeated on your next turn.
- "Grave Squirmer" - use Creature Swap to switch it with an opponent monster, then attack it with Kinka-byo to send it to your graveyard and destroy one card your opponent controls, finally attack with the monster your opponent gave you.
- "Mystic Piper" - You can revive this card each turn with kinka-byo's effect to tribute this card and draw up to 2 cards per turn.
- Use Imperial Iron Wall if you do not want your monster to be removed from play.
- Use this card with Creature Swap. That way, you get a free monster.
- You can search Kinka-byo with Key Mouse, revive it with Kinka-byo's effect and recycle Key Mouse with Creature Swap.
- Use this card's effect to summon Moja, then use King of the Beasts's effect to tribute Moja and summon itself to the field.
- Use this card's effect to Special Summon "King of the Skull Servants" without having to remove a "Skull Servant" variant from your graveyard, and attack for a one-turn massive damage.
- While "Stardust Dragon" or "Red Dragon Archfiend" is on the field, using "Foolish Burial" to send "Majestic Dragon" to the Graveyard and reviving it with "Kinka-byo", allows "Majestic Star Dragon" or "Majestic Red Dragon" to be easily Synchro Summoned.
- Use this card to search a Level 1 Tuner Monster from your Graveyard to Special Summon "Formula Synchron" easily.
- If you tuned this card with "Turbo Synchron", you could immediately follow up by special summoning "Dark Simorgh".
- You can summon Alien Ammonite with this card to Synchro Summon Formula Synchron to draw a card. This strategy puts needed draw power in the Alien archetype.
