- This card can be searched by "Dogu", "Single Purchase", "Temple of the Kings", "Painful Escape", "Witch of the Black Forest", "Downbeat", "Ties of the Brethren", "Number 29: Mannequin Cat", "Rescue Ferret", "Transmodify", "Serpentine Princess", "Vampire Dragon", "Sphere of Chaos", "Dragunity Corsesca", "BOXer", "Frontline Observer", "Machina Armored Unit" and "Gear Gigant X".
- Use "DNA Surgery" to take advantage of "Machine King Prototype's" effect by making all the monsters on the field to Machine-Types.
- This is a better alternative to "Machine King", as it does not require a tribute, a decent ATK for a three star monster (you can use it with "Level Limit - Area B" or "Gravity Bind"), and has essentially the same effect.
- Use "Blue Thunder T-45's" effect to summon Thunder Option Tokens and increase the ATK of "Machine King Prototype".
