• This card's effect isn't worth it if just battling with your opponent's monster would inflict more damage than the effect. However, if your opponent's monster has an effect that prevents it, then the effect is more advisable.
  • Or it would be useful if your opponent has a high DEF monster in Defense Position.

• This card can be used, as an alternative to "Dark End Dragon" and his effect, to remove "a hard to destroy" monsters, such as "Wind-Up Zenmaines" and "Maestroke the Symphony Djinn".

• Equip this card with "Thorn of Malice" to boost its attack and give you the alternative of attacking and damaging your opponent's monsters and preventing them from running over this card on their next turn. This will also allow you to send dangerous, higher-attack monsters such as "Stardust Dragon" to the Graveyard rather than trying to attack them.

• This card is useful against the "Madolche", since their effect activate when they are destroyed, not simply sent to the Graveyard.

• Use cards like "Shrink" and "Burden of the Mighty" to increase the amount of targets this card can send to the Graveyard.

• You can stop your opponent's attack with "Power Frame" then make this card's ATK same as your opponent's monster. On your next turn, use this card's effect on the same monster that attacked this card.

• Use this card to rid the field of monsters that cannot be destroyed by battle (or at least not easily), like: "Shield Wing", "Marshmallon", "Spirit Reaper", etc.

• Xyz Summon this card using "Heroic Challenger - Extra Sword" to increase its ATK by 1000 for each "Extra Sword" you used to summon it, allowing you to use the effect of "Blackship of Corn" on stronger monsters.

• Use this card on monsters which effects require them to be destroyed (by battle) to prevent them triggering.

• Use this card with "Blackwing Armor Master" to reduce an opponent's monster's ATK to 0, and during Main Phase 2, you can use the effect of this card to send that monster to the Graveyard.

• Xyz Summon this card with "Gagaga Magician" and "Gagaga Girl", and use the effect of "Gagaga Girl" on any of your opponent's Special Summoned monsters. This essentially means that you can use the effect of this card on ANY of your opponent's Special Summoned monsters.
