• This card can be searched by "A Cat of Ill Omen" and "The Despair Uranus".

• Since Continuous Trap Cards are Spell Speed 2, you can first activate another Spell Speed 2 effect and then send it to the Graveyard with "Scrubbed Raid's" effect to end the Battle Phase. For example, activate "Ceasefire", "Just Desserts", "Magical Explosion", "Secret Barrel", etc. to inflict Burn Damage to your opponent then chain it with "Scrubbed Raid's" effect so you can send the burn card to the Graveyard to end the Battle Phase.

• This is also useful in Stall Decks or Exodia Decks as it can be a great defense.
  • Using "Imperial Custom" will protect this card and other stall cards like "Wall of Revealing Light" and "Gravity Bind".

• Include this card in a Crystal Beast Deck, because if your Spell & Trap Card Zones become clogged, this card can help you clear 1 Zone per turn.

• Use this card in conjunction with cards such as "Sangan" or "Emissary of the Afterlife" to stop your opponent from attacking and gain their effect. This is especially useful in an Exodia Deck

• Use this card with "Black Ptera" to negate the -1 this card generates for every use.

• Use this card with "Kuraz the Light Monarch" and "The Creator". Using this card, sacrifice the Monarch. Then later, revive him, destroying up to two cards on the field.

• Use it in a Blackwing deck send "Blackwing - Vayu the Emblem of Honor" to the Graveyard or Blackwings that can be later summoned by "Blackwing - Blizzard the Far North".

• Attack directly with "Earthbound Immortal Aslla piscu", then use this effect to end the battle phase by removing the monster from the field. Your opponent's monsters will be destroyed and they will lose a large portion, or possibly all, of their remaining life points.

• When activating this, you can send any card on your field. Even one destined for the grave anyway. On your opponent's turn, during their Battle Phase, you can use a trap or spell and chain this card to it. Send the activated spell or trap. You will get both effects and this effect for relatively free. You can also do this with monsters, say a monster is attacked by "Ally of Justice Catastor", usually it will be killed by it's effect. With this card, you can send that monster to the graveyard and protect any other monsters from being destroyed.

• You can use this card to evade "Sakuretsu Armor" and "Dimensional Prison" and the alike cards which specifies "The attacking monster". As the battle phase has ended when the effect of this card resolves, no monsters are attacking thus the above cards cannot proceed with their effect.

• Use this card with "Savage Colosseum" and "Light of Intervention". If your opponent tries to attack, end their Battle Phase and destroy all monsters they control. You can also use Carrierroid to protect your Spell and Trap Cards. Use the Gadgets and "Scrap Recycler" to endlessly fuel "Scrubbed Raid".

• You can use this card to send "Good Goblin Housekeeping" to the Graveyard to be able to draw 1 additional card with its effect due to there being a "Good Goblin Housekeeping" in the graveyard when its effect resolves.

• You can use this card to send "Limiter Overload" to the Graveyard to end the battle phase and special summon a "Speed Warrior". This combo would work well in a Yusei Fudo-based deck.

• Probably one of the best cards to use with Scrubbed Raid may be "Scapegoat", because you can use "Scapegoat's" effect to special Summon 4 Sheep Tokens, chaining Scrubbed Raid to it, and send it to the Graveyard. You will also have 4 tokens.
  • The same can be said for Dandylion, which summons tokens when it is sent to the graveyard.
    • However, take note that since Tokens are not considered 'cards', and do not function like cards (I.e. do not get sent to the graveyard upon destruction, cannot be flipped face down, etc.) You cannot send any token as the cost for Scrubbed Raid.

• This card may be used as an engine to help Summon "Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon". Use "Photon Lead" to Special Summon "The White Stone of Legend" and "Inferno Reckless Summon" to bring out 3 copies of it. You will be able to finish up to three Battle Phases by ditching the Stones and bring out three BEWDs. Fuse them for "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" and Tribute the latter for "Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon".

• Another monster that works well with this card is "Level Eater". You can use this card with "Drill Warrior" to continuously bring back "Level Eater" to tribute it for "Scrubbed Raid". With "Drill Warrior" effect you can remove it from play, and when it comes back it would be untouched. Plus, you get to bring another monster from your grave to your hand.

• Sending an equipped "Dragunity Aklys" to the graveyard also gives you an opportunity to destroy one card on the field, along with stopping your opponent's attacks.

• Combo this card with "Destiny Hero - Plasma", "Relinquished" or "The Atmosphere" to create a perfect defense by sending the equipped monster to the graveyard. You can also clear your opponent's field using this card's effect during the Battle Phase of your turn after attacking, then absorb another opponent's monster.

• Combine with "Elemental Hero Ocean" currently on the field and sending another "Elemental Hero" you control to graveyard. Then on your standby phase, return an "Elemental Hero" monster from your graveyard and repeat this process to stall.
  • "Elemental Hero Stratos" is a good choice to send with Scrubbed Raid and return with Ocean's effect.

• Another combo is milling or searching "D.D. Scout Plane" trough "Gold Sarcophagus" or with "Dark Grepher" and "Armageddon Knight" effect´s and then using the effect of "Strike Ninja" to remove the scout planes, once they hit the graveyard (because of Scrubbed Raid´s effect or synchro summoning) then you will have the chance to bring back the scout planes and keep removing them over and over again, leaving your oponnent without his battle phase permanently.

• In an all-Warrior deck, you can use this card in combination with The Immortal Bushi to protect yourself, and if you have no monsters on the field, you can revive Bushi.
  • If you have a "Savage Colosseum" active, you may set up a Lockdown in which the opponent's monsters are unable to attack and get destroyed in the turn they were Stalled.
    • A "Coffin Seller" would make matters even worse to the opponent, dealing damage for every single monster destroyed in this lock.

• In a Generation Fish Deck, you can combine this with "Wingtortoise", "Forgotten Temple of the Deep" and any Level 4 or lower, Sea-Serpent, Fish or Aqua type monster
