Card Tips:Spiritual Fire Art - Kurenai
- The most damage you can do with this card by monster alone is with "CXyz Coach Lord Ultimatrainer".
- This card is very effective in a FIRE Burn Deck that utilizes "Lava Golem", or in FIRE Beatdown Decks as well. Use this card to chain any cards your opponent use that may either destroy or control your FIRE monsters to deal damage to your opponent while they wasted their card.
- This card can also be used as a finishing move in many FIRE beatdown Decks.
- Use "Lava Golem" and either "Remove Brainwashing", "Brain Control", "Enemy Controller" or "Hiita the Fire Charmer" to bring this card to your side of the field. After you Special Summoned it, you will not only get rid of 2 of your opponent's monsters, but also be able to attack with "Lava Golem", then use "Spiritual Fire Art - Kurenai" to Tribute it for 3000 damage during your opponent's End Phase. This way "Lava Golem" will protect your LP during your opponent's turn, and you won't suffer its 1000 damage burn during your turn. If your opponent tries to activate anything that targets "Lava Golem", Chain "Kurenai" to Tribute the monster and deal 3000 damage to your opponent as well as causing a target loss.
- Use "Brain Control" to first take control of "Lava Golem" and have "Remove Brainwashing" set. This way you can deal the initial 3000 damage from the attack, return the monster to your opponent for a further 1000 damage, then take it back and use "Spiritual Fire Art - Kurenai" to deal a final 3000 damage, for a total of 7000 damage and getting rid of 2 monsters on your opponent's field.
- Since this card uses the original ATK of a monster to calculate damage, you can use it to counter effects that substantially lower the ATK power of your monsters such as "Venom Swamp" and "Shrink".
- You can use this card to tribute "Gaia Soul the Combustible Collective" for 2000 points of damage after your Battle Phase. Since "Gaia Soul" is destroyed during the End Phase anyway, this will not put you at any further disadvantage.
- You can use "DNA Transplant" (or "Scroll of Bewitchment") to tribute any monster.
- Use combination of this card and "DNA Transplant" in a Deck that can Summon high ATK monster easily such as "Malefic" and "Disaster Dragon" to inflict significant damage with easily Summoned monster.
- This card works well with "Koa'ki Meiru Valafar" that has been revived by "Core Reinforcement".
- This card can work well with any of the FIRE Gemini monsters and "Supervise" allowing monster revival and additional attacks.
- "Chthonian Emperor Dragon" is a particularly good target not only for its high ATK but also since it can attack twice before you activate this card. "Supervise" will activate and revive "Chthonian Emperor Dragon" (or a bigger Gemini monster) for a third strike. Total battle damage is at least 7200 with 2400 effect damage. A possible One Turn Kill.
- Chain this card to "Bottomless Trap Hole" to prevent high ATK monsters from being banished.
