- The flashing background seen in this card's artwork can also be seen further away in the artwork of "Junk Archer".
- This card's effect gives the monster it's equipped to an effect similar to that of "Elemental HERO Flame Wingman", "Elemental HERO Shining Flare Wingman", "Tyler the Great Warrior" "Earthbound Immortal Ccapac Apu", and "Neos Force".
- The burn damage of this card somewhat resembles "Junk Barrage" and "Nitro Unit".
- This card's art bears a resemblance to the copies of "Armor monster".
- The wording of the latter part of this card's effect is very similar to that of a Union Monster except that it does not have the Union Monster's limitation of one per monster, nor does it protect the equipped monster from destruction.
- This card's English name has become somewhat of a gag by the fan community. Since the card is an autonomous gauntlet and machine as a sole monster, it could very well be an armored arm. In this context, "Armory Arm" becomes a pun.
- This card is tied for being the third lowest level Synchro Monster, "Turbo Cannon" is Level 3, and "Formula Synchron" and "T.G. Recipro Dragonfly" are Level 2.
- This is the only Synchro Monster in Yusei's deck that he does not have a chant for when performing its Synchro Summon.
- Ironically, this card can become a tuner via "Lightwave Tuning". This is the only TCG Synchro Monster that can be made a Tuner through this card without being altered by other cards. In the OCG, there are two others.
