- Use in a Gladiator Beast deck with "DNA Surgery" for empowerment.
- Switch Berserk Gorilla in defense mode to make it destroy itself, thus giving Panda his boost.
- This card combos extremely well with "Ojama Trio" and "Gyaku-Gire Panda." Using Ojama Trio greatly boosts "Gyaku-Gire Panda's" ATK, and when the "Ojamas" are destroyed, "Maji-Gire" becomes stronger. Attack one Ojama Token with "Gyaku-Gire Panda" to give "Maji-Gire Panda" a boost, then have "Maji-Gire" destroy another Ojama Token, and it will finish the turn with at least 2000 ATK.

- Combine this card with "DNA Surgery", "Ultimate Offering", "King Tiger Wanghu" and "Black Ptera". (Ensure that you summon "King Tiger Wanghu" after "Maji-Gire Panda".) Keep on summoning "Black Ptera" with "Ultimate Offering" until this card obtains a potent ATK.
- Additionally, have "Mysterious Puppeteer" on your field to cancel the cost of "Ultimate Offering". This will allow you to increase "Maji-Gire Panda's" ATK an infinite amount, even with low Life Points, and you can get an OTK as long as you're able to inflict Battle Damage with it.
- This card can be combined with "Playful Possum" if this card has yet to reach its desired ATK.
