"Fragment Fusion":

This card's effects are similar to "Gem-Knight Fusion", but instead of adding this card to the hand, its second effect destroys the monster at the end of the turn.

This card is the second released OCG Trap Card that supports Fusion Summons, and also the second OCG Trap Card that supports "Gem-Knight" Fusion Summons, with the first being "Pyroxene Fusion".

A doublet is a type of gem composed in two sections. It is sometimes used to imitate other, more expensive gems.

The effect of this card is similar to that of "Miracle Fusion".
"Fragment Fusion" is used by "Gem-Knight Crystal" to create "Gem-Knight Master Diamond". Given the nature of the fusion trap, Master Diamond is only temporary and most likely devolved into "Cairngorgon, Antiluminescent Knight".
