This monster appears in the artworks of "Guard Plus", "Wonder Xyz", and "Zerozerock".

This monster's Japanese name is pronounced as "Ganbaranaito" which can be roughly translated as "I must do my best" or "if I don't do my best".

Despite the numerous times this monster appeared in the Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL anime, its effect was never used. It shares this trait with "Zubaba Knight", another one of Yuma Tsukumo's first monsters.

Strangely, in Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V Tag Force Special, Yuma has an attack quote for this monster, despite this card having 0 ATK and having never attacked in the anime.
