  • This card's name is also similar to Ganondorf, another name for Ganon, the final boss in most of the Legend of Zelda video games. Ganon, in the games, is also entitled "King of Darkness".
  • This card is a counterpart to Divine Grace - Northwemko; its effect destroys monsters while Norsewemko's protects them. Also, the names of the monsters and the rituals mirror each other (Destruction versus Salvation) and they have the same total ATK and DEF (3900).
