Card Trivia:Kairyu-Shin
- This monster appears in the artwork of "Rage of Kairyu-Shin".
- "Sea Dragon God" is a literal transliteration of the kanji in the Japanese name of this card. However, the ruby text above these kanji indicates that the Japanese name should be read as Leviathan.
- The Bandai version of this card is Level 6 and has 2200 ATK & 2000 DEF, whereas the Konami card is Level 5 and has 1800 ATK & 1500 DEF. Moreover the Bandai version is violet and the Konami version is blue.
- Artwork-wise, "Yormungarde" is a counterpart of this card.
- Despite having support for Sea Serpent monsters, this is the only Sea Serpent monster in Yu-Gi-Oh! Nightmare Troubadour.
- This card has one of the largest gap of time from its first and only OCG release to its original TCG release, separated by a period of 20 years. The card was first printed in December 1999 in the Booster 6, while the first print of the card in the TCG is in December 2019 in the Speed Duel: Trial of the Kingdom booster pack.
