  • This card is most likely based on the Japanese legend of the Oni, ogres who often wore tigers skin clothing. Moreover, this card is similar to Lum, an Oni-girl from another planet, one of the main characters from the anime series "Urusei Yatsura", who wore a revealing tiger skin outfit and commanded electricity in her attacks.
  • The drums and drum sticks this monster has are based off of the ancient Japanese deity "Rai-Jin" (thunder meaning "rai"), the god of lighting, usually depicted carrying them (excluding the cymbals).
  • This card's name is reminiscent of Japanesse word for "meow" (which is "Nyan").
    • Some people wrongly asumme it's related to the Nyan Cat.
