- In episode 102, Sartorius uses this card during his Duel against Jaden Yuki. After this card is activated, it begins to rotate. It lands upright, so the effects of non Arcana Force monsters are negated and when a player destroys a monster in battle, that player will gain Life Points equal to the original ATK of the destroyed monster. Since the effects of "Elemental HERO Shining Flare Wingman" are negated, its ATK decreases to its original value. In the next episode, Sartorius uses this card's second effect to make "Arcana Force XXI - The World" land upright. "The World" then attacks and destroys "Shining Flare Wingman". The final effect of this card then activates, increasing Sartorius's Life Points by the original ATK of "Shining Flare Wingman". On Jaden's turn, he activates "R - Righteous Justice" to destroy this card since he had "Elemental HERO Bubbleman" on his side of the field, but Sartorius activates "Emperor's Staff" to prevent his cards from being destroyed by Jaden's card effects this turn. On Sartorius's next Standby Phase, this card begins to rotate. It lands upright, so its effects stay as they are. Sartorius then summons "Arcana Force IV - The Emperor" and uses this card's second effect to make "The Emperor" land upright. After "The World" destroys "Neo-Spacian Air Hummingbird" in battle, the final effect of "Light Barrier" activates, increasing Sartorius' Life Points by "Air Hummingbird's" original ATK. After The Emperor" destroys "Elemental HERO Bubbleman" in battle, the final effect of "Light Barrier" activates, increasing Sartorius's Life Points by "Bubbleman's" original ATK. On Sartorius's next Standby Phase, this card begins to rotate. It lands upright, so this card's effects stay as they are. After "The Emperor" destroys "Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin" in battle, this card's final effect activates, increasing Sartorius's Life Points by "Aqua Dolphin's" original ATK. After "The World" destroys "Elemental HERO Clayman" in battle, this card's final effect acitvates, increasing Sartorius's Life Points by "Clayman's" original ATK. After "Elemental HERO Sparkman" destroys "Arcana Force IV - The Emperor" in battle, this card's final effect activates, increasing Jaden's Life Points by "The Emperor's" original ATK. On Sartorius's next Standby Phase, this card begins to rotate and Sartorius confidently declares it will land upright as always, however it lands upside down (much to Sartorius's shock), so this card's effects are negated until Sartorius's next Standby Phase. This makes Sartorius realize Jaden is the boy that can defy destiny. Later Jaden activates the effect of "Elemental HERO Glow Neos" to destroy this card and allow "Glow Neos" to attack directly this turn. In the following episode, Sartorius returns this card from his Graveyard to his hand via the Heads effect of "Arcana Force EX - The Light Ruler". Sartorius mostly likely planned to activate this card on his next turn, which would have left Jaden and his monsters completely helpless again and allow Sartorius to defeat him as he would have had nothing else to counter against Sartorius and "The Light Ruler". However, Sartorius didn't get the chance to play this card as Jaden defeated him before he had that chance.
- In episode 105, this card appears in a flashback Chancellor Sheppard has when he thinks that it was Jaden's pure Duel-loving heart that saved the world from Kagemaru and the The Light of Destruction.
