Now that the full list for Duelist Revolution has been shown, I've decided to remove the two Creature Swaps and Spell Striker for Scrap Squall, which I think should speed the deck up, getting combo pieces into the graveyard easily and taking full advantage of monsters special summoned by [[Scrap Golem]] and [[Scrap Chimera]] if I don't feel like synchro summoning. Duelist Revolution seems like a fun set. It's got all sorts of things! It's got synchro fusions! It's got fusion support in general! It has Elecs! It has Naturia Forest among other things! It has... um... Earthquake Giant. (Way to start off the 7th series, Konami...) But right now, I'm particularly interested in the fact that it has the new Scrap monsters! Like you'd think, they can recycle themselves easily, and searching them is also a breeze. So, time to see what I can do with this archetype!

Here's how the deck works. First of all, I have Scrap Goblin, which is a pretty good attack blocker as they go, and can keep itself on the field for a tribute. Scrap Beast is an excellent 4-star tuner with a retrieval effect. Scrap Golem can revive my Scrap Goblin for an easy level 8 combo, or Scrap Beast to synchro for XX-Saber Gottoms. Scrap Chimera is most useful for synchro summoning Scrap Dragon, but it can also get me a quick two monsters for attacking.

Gigantes is an easy summon in this deck, making higher-level synchros easy, being a beatstick, and doubling as S/T removal in a pinch. Giant Rat can block attacks and thin the deck. The only Scrap monster it can search is Goblin, but I put in some other Earths too. For instance, there's Mormolith, which I though could be useful with my large amount of Earths, and can take out DAD and Colossal Fighter in one fell swoop. Card Trooper and Spell Striker are also valid targets. Spell Striker isn't really a GOOD idea, being almost a free special summon, but if I feel like it's necessary I'll use it. Card Trooper, on the other hand, mills my own deck to make itself a beatstick, and grants me a card when it's destroyed. Also, I have Sangan for added search power.

The first spell is Scrap Area. 6 targets in the deck, so it won't easily become a dead draw. Heavy Storm and MST are just about staples. Card Destruction and Hand Destruction form part of this deck's draw power, and get targets into the graveyard for easy use or just dump dead cards. Pot of Avarice seems like it would work here. I'm not entirely certain, but I do have many effects to get monsters into the graveyard. And then there's the pick that I find to be very cool - Creature Swap. It obviously combos with Giant Rat, but also with Sangan, Card Trooper (assuming I don't buff it), and Scrap Goblin (0 ATK, and if it's in defense position I'll get the retrieval effect).

The traps are fairly simple. Torrential Tribute wipes the field of monsters. Bottomless stops threats to my LP. Waboku does the same, and keeps monsters on the field for synchros or tributes for Scrap Golem. And Call of the Haunted has some neat combos of its own.

The synchro monster I really want to talk about here is Scrap Dragon. Its destruction effect is a bit odd, but it activates the effects of Scrap Goblin and Scrap Beast, so no complaints there. And at the same time, I'm taking out my opponent's card. It has a high ATK as well. And if it's destroyed, I simply special summon Scrap Golem, then use its effect to special summon Scrap Goblin, and pow! Scrap Dragon's back! The other Synchros should be fairly obvious.

Tell me what you think of this concept deck. Runer5h 21:00, March 18, 2010 (UTC)Runer5h

i can see where this deck is going, but you might wanna recycle cards in your graveyard more often^^

Umm, I assume that's a joke. Each and every Scrap monster has a recycling effect, as does Pot of Avarice. Runer5h 02:36, March 19, 2010 (UTC)Runer5h

can be assumed as a joke if the deck works at a slower pace

Why is the deck named "Frog King"? Is this some PUN?! So help you God if it is!I'm not amused, but now Offended. but seriously, why? Cool deck though...--Helix-king 04:36, March 19, 2010 (UTC)

I'm guessing he grabbed my template to save time & forgot to change the name :p, but anyway, looks fine, but could maybe swap a Mormolith for a Neo-Spacian Grand Mole? and possibly grab a Spiritual Earth Art - Kurogane?-RESK-193.62.251.50 10:57, March 19, 2010 (UTC)

Hmm, I'm not too sure on this yet, though. Maybe add a Scrap Recycler nah. It doesn't fit here. Did you consider Scrap Hunter, though? It seems to be a little fine for setting off the Scrap monsters' effects and shuffling about the positions of your Scrap Tuners (or other tuners, for that matter). --Gadjiltron 12:58, March 19, 2010 (UTC)

Exactly, Resk. I've thought about Spiritual Earth Art - Kurogane, but I think I have enough recycling power anyways. And, unfortunately, there aren't enough combos to use it with. Scrap Hunter is also something I thought of, but I don't think I can afford to lose that much field presence. Grand Mole is not something I thought of, though, and it would work quite well - I think I'll put that in. Thanks for the idea. Runer5h 19:23, March 19, 2010 (UTC)Runer5h

What about Widespread Dud? Since you'll be quickly summoning Scrap Dragon, you can use it with its destruction effects to ward off a threatening swarm. --Gadjiltron 04:58, April 2, 2010 (UTC)

I considered it, but I couldn't think of what to take out for it. Runer5h 17:10, April 2, 2010 (UTC)Runer5h
