Xyz Deck

Okay, I'm trying to make a Xyz deck on DuelingNetwork, but I have almost no idea what I'm doing. And so far, the deck is zero for "far-too-many-for-my-liking". I don't remember the template used for organizing decks on here, so could someone put that up so I can show the deck, and get a little help on it?--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round 19:52, February 2, 2012 (UTC)

Just copy your stuff over. 207.233.120.2 (talk) 16:22, February 3, 2012 (UTC)

There, I edited the deck template to put in the info. I've also got a Kao'ki Meiru Deck I'll put down a bit later.--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round 05:42, February 4, 2012 (UTC)

Please read Forum:Deck Guide/General.

Cards you should add:

BF2 Talk Deck Guides 13:37, February 4, 2012 (UTC)

Alright. Any other advice? And do you mean Tiras or Adreus, Keeper of Armageddon? And one more thing: I use Batteryman AAA, not AA. Just in case there's a significant difference between them.--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round 20:32, February 4, 2012 (UTC)

I need more advice with this deck; removing the cards you suggested leaves me at 38 cards, and I need more level 3 monsters for Rank 3 Xyz.--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round 06:50, February 6, 2012 (UTC)

1 thing that came to mind for a good Level 3 is Snowman Eater. Good DEF, decent effect. -- Summoned Skull 2: Electric Boogaloo 08:51, February 8, 2012 (UTC)

Yeah, it looks good and if I'm correct, that and another level 3 WATER monster would make Black Ray Lancer viable.--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round 17:16, February 8, 2012 (UTC)

Okay, so apparently I'm good on level threes, more or less. Unless I DO want to run a Black Ray Lancer, which might actually be good. However, I notice that I have a distinct lack of firepower, with none of my Monsters being higher than 2500 ATK. Any suggestions to remedy that?--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round 17:49, February 8, 2012 (UTC)

Koa'ki Meiru Deck

I know what the topic says, but I don't wanna spam the wiki with two separate forums about basically the same thing. So, here goes:

Alright, there it is.--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round 21:21, February 4, 2012 (UTC)

Not sure which one to help. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 01:40, February 5, 2012 (UTC)

Either, preferably both XD--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round 01:46, February 5, 2012 (UTC)

Did you want to keep the KM pure KM, and would Synchros be ok? ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 18:08, February 5, 2012 (UTC)

Yes, I want to keep it as KM-focused as possible. And I have Grave of the Super Ancient Organism in my deck, so Synchros should largely be left out. I want to be able to play the deck as an anti-meta, allowing me to shut down and disrupt opponent strategies. And when the deck works, it does that quite well; I beat someone with almost twice my rating on DuelingNetwork, because they were using a Steelswarm/Verz deck, and stalled out a Macro Deck down to the last three cards (despite my three Iron Cores being removed from play and being whittled down to 200 lifepoints) solely through the use of Core Blaster. Unfortunately, it has a tendency to be rather fickle with the cards it gives me, mainly in terms of the key card Iron Core of Koa'ki Meiru and monsters; in one duel I actually went the entire time drawing only one monster. So, I want to maximize on the anti-meta and shutdown strategies, while improving my card control and draw power.--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round 19:18, February 5, 2012 (UTC)

3 Pot of Duality? Helps get to Core, and since your not really special summoning, why not? ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 19:47, February 5, 2012 (UTC)
I suggest asking Lappyzard more about KM, since he understands the deck better than I do. Although I'm pretty sure you don't need the Tribute Monsters. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 19:48, February 5, 2012 (UTC)

Fair enough. The tribute monsters are in there for heavier firepower.--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round 20:19, February 5, 2012 (UTC)

Strangely enough, Ace has played the deck, and I haven't. XD Anyways, for consistency, I typically use the rule of 4; in this case, I recommend 3 Iron Core and 1 Immediate Disposal in addition to 3 Pot of Duality. Honestly, I think I might try my own build now, so I'll let you know what I end up with. Lappyzard (talkcontribs) 21:36, February 5, 2012 (UTC)

Alright then. Hopefully I can get some help improving this deck. I'm pretty interested in it, and would really like to make sure it works.--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round 21:46, February 5, 2012 (UTC)

Okay after adding Pot of Duality I'm able to get a lot more control, but I need more assistance. A common problem still remains that I have trouble getting the necessary Monsters when I need them. I still end up losing with all Spells and Traps in my hand.--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round 06:53, February 6, 2012 (UTC)
