- This card is the first Wyrm "Number", despite the fact that the Type was introduced after Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL.
- This card is named after Count Dracula.
- This card's Japanese epithet 「竜血鬼」 (Ryūketsuki) is a portmanteau of 「吸血鬼」 (kyūketsuki, vampire) and 「竜」 (ryū, dragon).
- The number 2 can be spelled as "fu" and 4 as "shi": together they form the word "fushi" (不死), which means "immortality". This may refer to this monster being a "nosferatu" or vampire.
- This, and "Yaguramaru the Armor Ninja", are the only Extra Deck monsters with effects that activate upon being flipped face-up.
