Sorry bro

Aww, I'm sorry man, and, are you flipping serious? I love that card, may I ask a question?

Video game artwork of red-eyes b. dragon

I see the page of the booster pack "red-eyes b. dragon (japanese) (SDD-BP)", the name of this pack is it an error? The second artwork of red-eyes b. dragon in worldwide edition dont exist in real card right? This booster dont must to be named "red eyes b. dragon (worldwide edition alternate artwork)"? I cant show you this artwork because i havent the image yet.

Can we put the artworks of worldwide edition or only the artwork of dark duel stories is fine? I see a artwork of duel monster VI was put, but i prefer ask to you.

Thank you.

Okay, oops i have submited on my discussion page.

I think "red eyes b. dragon (alternate artwork)" its fine.

Okay, the booster artwork its in truth the third or fourth artwork of red-eyes b. dragon, i think we can name it "red-eyes b. dragon (third or fourth artwork) sdd-bp".

I dont know how the card look yet.

Granel

Could you please move all the Grannel pages to Granel? The English KONAMI site confirmed, with Meklord Army of Granel, that Granel will be the English TCG name. Siguiendo la luna no llegare lejos, tan lejos como se pueda llegar ♫ 16:02, February 17, 2011 (UTC)

Ok no problem, just to not leave empty links about the Granel cards in the Meklord article. Siguiendo la luna no llegare lejos, tan lejos como se pueda llegar ♫ 16:18, February 17, 2011 (UTC)

Tricky. This is like "Archfiend Mirror", whose most recent video game name had been "Wicked Mirror", long after "Archfiend" monsters received support. If you want to follow strict naming standards, leave them at "Grannel". Although, calling them all "Granel" is probably tidier. -- Deltaneos (talk) 22:19, February 17, 2011 (UTC)

Re: Video game decklists

I see no problem. They've been reliable any times I've checked them. Sometimes people who write them will include some kind of copyright notice, saying you can't use content in their FAQ elsewhere, but really the contents of a character's Deck is a fact and ineligible for copyrighted. So yes, it is okay to copy video game Decklists from such sites. -- Deltaneos (talk) 16:54, February 18, 2011 (UTC)

RE: Demak.

If it was just 1 user changing it, I'd usually ask them to stop. But I remember other users doing the same thing a while ago, so I locked it. I was about to put a note on the talk page about the Dub name being used. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 02:05, February 20, 2011 (UTC)

Ok. Thanks for the link; and advice. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 02:21, February 20, 2011 (UTC)

Image for GX 76

I am curious what happened to that image that usually placing along with the information detail at top of that article? --FredCat 12:31, February 20, 2011 (UTC)

So that's all 4kids' fault for violent removed the pictures/videos before we got chance to post the pictures... --FredCat 19:49, February 20, 2011 (UTC)
Where are the picture for the remains of GX's episodes that need them. Or would we losing our fans quickly? --FredCat 23:41, February 20, 2011 (UTC)
So we're going to read a blank article that only have words? --FredCat 23:44, February 20, 2011 (UTC)

life stream dragon not a tuner

life stream dragon is not a tuner monster because i watch the show and if that dragon is a tuner monster is get to have lower level not higher level. okay — This unsigned comment was made by Sonofss2 (talkcontribs) 00:00, February 21, 2011

RE: GX Manga

Oh yes, but it seemed like Janime.info where I original get all the duels set up are now moving and about to closing down. There is other site, but it's not work well at this time. --FredCat 11:03, February 22, 2011 (UTC)

Also, if I recalled correctly, I laid some links in past comments we made conversation here... Let's see if you could find it...? --FredCat 21:51, February 22, 2011 (UTC)
And since when does Manga featuring a card of the week? Only Anime can done that so far... refreshing my memory if you should. --FredCat 00:20, February 26, 2011 (UTC)
So how does Manga having "Feature Cards" then? --FredCat 00:24, February 26, 2011 (UTC)
*facefault* So it's my fault for drawing your attention to that? You noticed that and asked me right after I shoved up the featured card of the chapter in my recently two chapters (Of Hidden Duels). --FredCat 00:31, February 26, 2011 (UTC)

Re: Translation checks

I'm not an expert either, but...

  • I think "Gōrem" to "Gōremu" is correct. "U"s like that are often silent, but still included in rōmaji spellings.
  • When you translate "暗黒(あんこく)" (Ankoku) one kanji at a time you get "dark black", which is what they've been changing it to (1, 2) But together, "darkness" is a valid (and maybe more correct) translation. In Brron's case, "Dark World" is probably an acceptable translation, since "暗黒" can be used as a genitive dark.
  • "Sky Dragon" to "Sky Air Dragon" is also a result of translating one kanji at a time, rather than translating them together. "天空(てんくうく)" (tenkū) means "sky".
  • Based on what I've seen used as translated card names before "XのY" has been translated as "X of Y", "Y of X", "(possessive/adjective/genitive form of X) Y" and vice-versa. Which side of the translation the X and Y go on seems to be a matter of common sense. After that the different translations are all pretty synonymous.

-- Deltaneos (talk) 21:32, February 23, 2011 (UTC)

They haven't been editing since any of their changes were reverted, so we don't know if they intend to continue after them or not. If you do want to leave them a message, it wouldn't be fair to ask them to stop outright when neither of us can actually speak Japanese. You could just ask if they're sure of the changes and point to the concerns above.
It's mentioned in the CardTable2 documentation that trans is only for translations that are not trivially different than the given English name. -- Deltaneos (talk) 00:24, February 26, 2011 (UTC)

Re: Tenses

Yeah, I guess. That seems right. -- Deltaneos (talk) 22:37, February 23, 2011 (UTC)

About the rules

Hello, i talk about the rules of Yu-Gi-Oh! 7 Trials to Glory: World Championship 2005, in Yu-Gi-Oh! 7 Trials to Glory: World Championship 2005 page, i mention call of the haunted dont be destroyed when the selected monster is tribute unlike Yu-Gi-Oh! Worldwide Edition: Stairway to the Destined Duel, can you tell more about that? Is look like a advanced TCG rules? Or like a traditionnal TCG rules?

Okay so all rules use this ruling (TCG advanced, TCG traditionnal and OCG). Must we put "this game use the proper ruling" on the page? About that, in Yu-Gi-Oh! Worldwide Edition: Stairway to the Destined Duel we can use the shallow grave when opponent doesn't have monster in his graveyard and be the only one to summon a monster, and in Yu-Gi-Oh! 7 Trials to Glory: World Championship 2005 both player must have monster in his graveyard for activate the card but spear cretin effect still work if the opponent doesn't have monster in his graveyard, who use the proper ruling about that case?

Thank you.

Z-one =/= Yusei Fudo

Though you confirmed him not being Yusei, I still believed that he is indeed Yusei Fudo... It's a Criminal Mark on his cheek; it's unique in the human universe. --FredCat 03:31, February 26, 2011 (UTC)

I see, it seemed like we are walking on different paths of belief... You think Z-one is just other human with no identity while I am believing that Z-one is reborn of Yusei. --FredCat 03:36, February 26, 2011 (UTC)
That's what I mean, you don't think Z-one is Yusei while I do think. It's what I called "walking on different paths of belief". But I am not fighting with you about this, I just say that what I saw. --FredCat 10:33, February 26, 2011 (UTC)

I know, but I want to change the Destination filename.

Thanks! Now I will show you my collection about Jaden. I have lots of images about Jaden and everyone in Yugioh GX!

I think so too, except for the faculty there, like Crowler or Sheppard. Unlike students, teachers can be considered as being affiliated with a school.PoirotH (talkcontribs) 15:36, March 2, 2011 (UTC)

GREETINGS

Allow me to introduce myself. I am InvaderMEEN. I come from Zim Wiki and am an admin there. I noticed your edit to "Fusion Summon". Is there a such thing as "overlinking"? Please explain. I think policies on this wiki are different than the ones on Zim Wiki. Also, if you could explain ALL of the rules in a nutshell, I would appreciate it. Thank you! That was another AMAZING message, from ME, InvaderMEEN!Contact me here! 06:49, March 3, 2011 (UTC)

Re: TF04 and TF05 deck names

Tweaked the infobox. The Japanese version names now have a dotted underline and a message saying they're from the Japanese version appears when you hover the mouse over them. -- Deltaneos (talk) 18:26, March 3, 2011 (UTC)

The new skin doesn't handle it as well as Monobook. I'll see if I can fix that. -- Deltaneos (talk) 18:28, March 3, 2011 (UTC)

Duels and Decks

Hi, I am working on the GX characters' card listing and filling their Duel records. I am currently watching the Season 3, and I need advice about Duels in the alternate dimension(s) and about characters' Decks.

  • Despite duelling in usual Duels and Battle Royals, could the duelling with individual Duel Monster Spirit(s) be count as a Duel? For example, Jesse's two Duels with Harpy(ies), or Zane's Duel with Doom Doozer. And another thing: should I put Syrus' dream Duel (or was it a flashback?) from episode 137 in his record?
  • Second question is about the characters' Decks in Engish Season 3 opening theme. Those Decks are actually the same Decks from Japanese Season 2 opening theme, and they are not present in Japanese Season 3 opening theme. Should that cards be listed in the characters' Decks of the Season 3 or not?

--109.92.97.0 (talk) 17:01, March 4, 2011 (UTC)

Axel firing off cards... that isn't really duelling. I'll list that Duels with DMS. As for Syrus' dream, I can't make up my mind yet. If that Duel is going to be listed, then Jaden's dream in episode 34 should be listed too.
As for cards, that's actually a good idea. I support it. --178.223.189.130 (talk) 21:03, March 4, 2011 (UTC)

I'm not sure if this is the same user using two separate IPs or two different users, so I'll respond here, hopefully you (or both of you) will see it. I think putting the dream duels in is fine. We list Joey's Deck from his dream sequences when he was unconscious, so this is a similar situation. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 23:20, March 4, 2011 (UTC)

I am the same user, but now I am using a different IP address. Back to the topic... OK, I'll list that dream Duels. But I don't know what opponent should be listed for Jaden's dream. Maybe Kaibaman (based on the fact that the dragon sounded like Blue-Eyes) or a Shadow Duelist (Jaden was afraid of losing a Shadow Duel)? --178.223.189.130 (talk) 23:30, March 4, 2011 (UTC)
You could put something like "Unknown Duelist" or "Unseen Duelist". I wouldn't object to Kaibaman either. "Dream Duelist" may be good term to use too. I'll leave it up to you, it's not that big of an issue. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 23:34, March 4, 2011 (UTC)
I'm going to put "Kaibaman". In Japanese version of episode 42 they have similar voices, and Duel Disks too. Thanks for helping me. --178.223.189.130 (talk) 00:36, March 5, 2011 (UTC)
No problem. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 00:37, March 5, 2011 (UTC)

Belowski

Unfortunately not. I did the same thing as you a while ago - checked every Dragon-Type monster from the list - and I only found Kaiser Dragon. I'll inform you if I find some information about the second dragon.

I have a question about Jaden's duel with Brron. Did Jaden use the Supreme King's power for the first time or he was briefly possessed by the King? --79.101.230.34 (talk) 21:48, March 7, 2011 (UTC)

Card images from WC11

Well I ask you if I could upload images of cards from Over the Nexus in a different way we usually do, since the images of the cards don't have Attribute, name and texts anymore in this game, could I upload images like this one to show the name of this card in the game? Not only for the mentioned reason, but also because this user keeps changing Crimson Mefist back to Blood Mephist. Siguiendo la luna no llegare lejos, tan lejos como se pueda llegar ♫ 17:06, March 8, 2011 (UTC)

Well it could be better to ask Deltaneos first, but the reason is that the card frames don't have texts nor names so by being more clear with the names and show where the names come from, I thought of doing that. On a side note, I thought also to upload the same way of images from the WC11 game but in different languages like Spanish. Siguiendo la luna no llegare lejos, tan lejos como se pueda llegar ♫ 17:34, March 8, 2011 (UTC)
Ok then I'll do upload some images. Siguiendo la luna no llegare lejos, tan lejos como se pueda llegar ♫ 17:58, March 8, 2011 (UTC)

Of course. -- Deltaneos (talk) 12:06, March 10, 2011 (UTC)

Re: Two brief things

Yes, "Ed" is also valid. I was unsure about whether or not to include multiples images when multiple cards appear, but it did cause a problem for this particular gallery, as it makes it seem like there were two "Machina Sniper" cards. Structure Deck galleries seem to ignore multiples. One format should ideally be used for both galleries. -- Deltaneos (talk) 00:59, March 11, 2011 (UTC)

Eisenstein

Do you know if these dates/events are correct? -- Deltaneos (talk) 21:46, March 14, 2011 (UTC)

It seems to be true. I've checked the episode and Ojin gives Sartorius a profile on him. It gives his birthdate, IQ, (spells his first name with two "l"s) and says something about the years 1996 to 2005. I'll take that user's word on it being times he wins Nobel Prizes. In the English version, everything bar the numbers is replaced with squiggly lines. -- Deltaneos (talk) 00:21, March 15, 2011 (UTC)

Decks 2

Hi, I have already written to you a while ago. I am finishing listing most of characters' cards from Japanese opening and ending themes. I need advice about their cards which appear in a monster form - not card form. Some themes features monsters that don't appear during the whole season, such as some Neos fusion forms from Season 3 and Card Ejector/Gyroid from Season 4 opening. Should I list such monsters to their corresponding Season decks or not? --178.223.158.214 (talk) 23:40, March 16, 2011 (UTC)

Hmm, that's a good question. I usually do count monster appearances as card appearances, but I don't count monster spirit appearances the same way. For consistency's sake, I'd go ahead and add them if you want to. There is no actual, official policy on this. I've used my own discretion when I make similar edits.

A suggestion. The actual pages on the opening/ending themes themselves have very incomplete lists on the cards that appear. If you have all the information already, why not add them to those pages too? The only one I've gotten around to myself is Sun, and I plan to do the same thing for 99%. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 23:53, March 16, 2011 (UTC)

I will list featured cards (i.e. Decks) for 99%, Precious Time, Glory Days and Endless Dream. As for 99%, Crowler's Deck will be incomplete and I will add Version 3 characters. But first I am going to add monster spirits. Thanks for your help. --178.223.180.146 (talk) 01:21, March 17, 2011 (UTC)
No problem. Thanks for your contributions. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 01:36, March 17, 2011 (UTC)

Hi, I am listing cards from the Season 2 opening theme. I need help. I could not identify a spell card which is placed between "Giant Rex" and "Hyper Hammerhead". Could you check that card? --178.223.146.200 (talk) 22:19, March 17, 2011 (UTC)

Hmm, my first thought was "Jurassic World", but the picture doesn't match and the card appears to be a normal spell. I' not finding a match with any spell he ever played or anything at List of Dinosaur-Type Support Cards. So I'm really not sure. Sorry. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 23:28, March 17, 2011 (UTC)
I've just watched episode 55, and it looks like that that card is "Jurassic World" with different artwork. In any case, thanks for your help. --178.223.146.200 (talk) 23:51, March 17, 2011 (UTC)

"Ruling 63"?

I noticed this line in Carly's Trivia. Does it mean for gender reverse, attitude reverse character in different height/age that respect the "anti-hero" character (Seto for Mokuta, Jack for Carly), is that right? --FredCat 16:37, March 26, 2011 (UTC)
