- This card can be searched by "Triple Tactics Thrust", "Endymion, the Mighty Master of Magic", and other generic searchers.
- Use "DNA Surgery" or "Ivy Shackles" to make your opponent's Monsters Plant-Type so that they can be targeted by this card.
- By Normal Summoning or Special Summoning a monster while "Black Garden" is in play, your opponent will get a "Rose Token", which is a Plant-Type monster. Then, you can activate this card and destroy that "Rose Token", allowing you to draw up to 2 cards from your Deck.
- If you are trying to summon a particular monster from the Graveyard by "Black Garden"'s effect, you can use this card to regulate the number of Plant-Type monsters on the field so you can have the precise ATK needed.
- This is a perfect side deck card against Plant decks.
- "Creature Swap" your own Plant-Type Monster and then use "Fragrance Storm".
- Use this card with "The World Tree" so you generate counters when you use this card.
- Destroy "Dandylion" with this card's effect to potentially draw two cards and get two tokens.
- Use it to destroy "Seed of Flame" and Special Summon another Plant-Type from your Graveyard.
- "Gigaplant" combos well with this card. Destroy a Plant-Type monster you control, then revive it for free with "Gigaplant".
- Use this card's effect to destroy "Necro Fleur" to trigger its effect of Special Summoning "Sorciere de Fleur" from your Deck.
