- In the anime, this card is a Continuous Trap Card.
- In episode 84, Jack Atlas uses this card during his Turbo Duel against the Fake Jack Atlas. When Jack's "Red Dragon Archfiend" (whose ATK was reduced to 2600 due to it being affected by the granted effect of "Trust Guardian") attacks the fake's "Red Dragon Archfiend", Jack activates this card and equips it to "Red Dragon Archfiend". Jack then activates this card's effect to send "Twin-Shield Defender" from his hand to the Graveyard and increase the ATK of "Red Dragon Archfiend" by the ATK of "Twin-Shield Defender" until the End Phase. Jack then activates the "Trust Guardian"-granted effect of "Red Dragon Archfiend" to reduce the ATK of his "Red Dragon Archfiend" by 400 at the end of the Damage Step to prevent it from being destroyed, so only the fake's "Red Dragon Archfiend" is destroyed. On Jack's End Phase, this card's effect expires. Fake Jack later sends this card to the Graveyard in order to Special Summon "Trap Eater".
