In the anime, any monsters that destroyed the Waltz Token by battle lost ATK equal to that of the Waltz Token's.

• In episode 57, Yusei Fudo uses this card during his Ground Duel against Roman Goodwin. He uses this card to target "Stardust Dragon" and Special Summon a "Waltz Token" with the same stats as "Stardust Dragon". The "Waltz Token" then attacks directly since "Earthbound Immortal Uru" was the only monster Roman controls. Roman then activates the effect of "Roar of the Earthbound" to destroy the token and inflict half of its ATK as damage to Yusei, but Yusei Tributes "Stardust Dragon" to negate the effect of "Roar of the Earthbound" and destroy it. Roman then activates "Brilliant Shrine Art" to redirect the attack to "Uru". "Uru" then destroys the "Waltz Token", but Yusei takes no Battle Damage due to the first effect of the "Waltz Token". The last effect of the "Waltz Token" then decreases the ATK of "Uru" by the ATK of the "Waltz Token".

Scripted Duel

• In the non-canon duel North American WCQ 2011 Special: Yugi vs. Yusei, Yusei activates this card, targeting "Shooting Star Dragon". However, this card is negated by the effect of Yugi's "Dark Paladin".
