Card Rulings:Genex Ally Triforce
OCG Rulings
- "This card's effect depends on the Attribute(s) of its non-Tuner Synchro Material Monsters" is not treated as an effect. (This card gains "●" effect(s), based on the Attribute(s) of the non-Tuner monsters used as Synchro Materials for the Synchro Summon of "Genex Ally Triforce".)[1]
- The effect "● EARTH: If this card attacks, your opponent cannot activate any Spell/Trap Cards until the end of the Damage Step" is a Continuous Effect.[1]
- The effect "● FIRE: If this card destroys a monster by battle, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the ATK of the destroyed monster" is a Trigger Effect. (It does not target. It always activates at the end of the Damage Step in which "Genex Ally Triforce" itself destroyed an opponent's monster by battle.)[1]
- If "Genex Ally Triforce" battles a monster with the same ATK and both monsters are destroyed, the effect "inflict damage to your opponent equal to the ATK of the destroyed monster" is not activated.[1]
- The effect "● LIGHT: Once per turn, you can select 1 LIGHT monster in your Graveyard and Special Summon it in face-down Defense Position" is an Ignition Effect. (It targets 1 LIGHT monster in your Graveyard.)[1]
- If "Genex Ally Triforce" is Synchro Summoned using "Elemental Mistress Doriado" as Synchro Material, the Synchro Materials of "Genex Ally Triforce" are treated as LIGHT, WIND, WATER, FIRE, and EARTH. Therefore, "Genex Ally Triforce" gains all the effects "● EARTH", "● FIRE", and "● LIGHT".[2]
