Card Rulings:Koa'ki Meiru Tornado
TCG Rulings
- Returning 1 “Iron Core of Koka’ki Meiru” [sic] from your hand to the top of the Deck is a cost.[1]
- If your opponent Chains “Book of Moon” to this effect to turn a Special Summoned monster face-down, it will still be destroyed.[1]
- This effect will destroy monsters that have been Special Summoned in face-down Defense Position by effects like “Morphing Jar #2.”[1]
OCG Rulings
- Returning an "Iron Core of Koa'ki Meiru" from your hand to the top of your Deck is a cost to activate the effect of "Koa'ki Meiru Tornado".[2]
- The effect of "Koa'ki Meiru Tornado" can destroy face-down monsters, such as monsters Special Summoned face-down by "The Shallow Grave" or monsters that were Special Summoned and then flipped face-down by "Book of Moon".[3]
- After a Gemini Monster is Special Summoned by an effect like "Monster Reborn" and then is Normal Summoned, the Gemini Monster is still considered to have been Special Summoned. Thus, the effect of "Koa'ki Meiru Tornado" will still destroy the Gemini Monster.[4]
