Card Rulings:Natural Tune
TCG Rulings
- “Natural Tune” is a targeted effect.[1]
- If the target of “Natural Tune” becomes Level 5 or higher afterwards, it is still treated as a Tuner.[1]
- If a Gemini Monster is targeted by “Natural Tune” and becomes an Effect Monster, it is still treated as a Tuner.[1]
OCG Rulings
- If "Natural Tune" targets a Gemini Monster and afterwards the monster is Normal Summoned a second time and treated as an effect monster, then the Gemini Monster is still treated as a Tuner Monster. Similarly, if an effect later makes the targeted monster Level 5 or higher, then the effect of "Natural Tune" is still applied and the monster is still treated as a Tuner Monster.[3]
As examples in other Rulings
- Black Potan: If a Token Monster is being treated as a Tuner monster (such as by the effect of "Natural Tune") and is removed from the field, then the effect of "Black Potan" will still activate and you will still recover Life Points.[4]
