OCG Rulings

• "Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned by a card effect, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways." is not treated as a monster effect. Even if this card is sent from the hand or Deck to the Graveyard, it can be Special Summoned from the Graveyard by the effect of "Monster Reborn".

• The effect " When your opponent Normal or Special Summons a monster(s) while you control no monsters (except during the Damage Step): You can Special Summon both this card from your hand and 1 "PSY-Frame Driver" from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard, and if you do, add 1 "PSY-Frame" card from your Deck to your hand, except "PSY-Framegear Alpha". During the End Phase, banish the face-up monsters Special Summoned by this effect." is a Trigger Effect that is activated from the hand. (It does not target. Also, it cannot be activated during the Damage Step.)

• Banishing the monsters Special Summoned by this effect during the End Phase does not start a Chain Link.

• The effect of "PSY-Framegear Alpha" cannot be activated when your opponent Normal or Special Summons a monster by an effect activated as Chain 2 or higher.

• The resolution of "Special Summon both this card from your hand and 1 "PSY-Frame Driver" from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard" and the resolution of "add 1 "PSY-Frame" card from your Deck to your hand, except "PSY-Framegear Alpha"." are considered to happen at the same time.

• The effect of "PSY-Framegear Alpha" cannot be activated if you do not have "PSY-Frame Driver" in your hand, Deck, or Graveyard.

• "PSY-Framegear Alpha", "PSY-Framegear Beta", "PSY-Framegear Gamma", "PSY-Framegear Delta", and "PSY-Framegear Epsilon" are Special Summon Monsters that can only be Special Summoned by a card effect. Since a Pendulum Summon is not a Special Summon by a card effect, "PSY-Framegear Alpha" etc. cannot be Special Summoned by a Pendulum Summon.
