Card Rulings:Scrap Sheen
OCG Rulings
- This effect targets 1 face-up "Scrap" monster in your Monster Zone.[1]
- If you do not control 2 or more face-up "Scrap" monsters in your Monster Zone, "Scrap Sheen" cannot be activated.[1]
- If "Scrap Sheen" is activated during the Damage Step, it can be activated from the start of the Damage Step until before damage calculation.[1]
- "Select 1 face-up "Scrap" monster you control and destroy it." and "All face-up "Scrap" monsters you control gain 1000 ATK until the End Phase." are considered to happen at the same time.[1]
- In "Select 1 face-up "Scrap" monster you control and destroy it. All face-up "Scrap" monsters you control gain 1000 ATK until the End Phase.", the text "until the End Phase" should read "until the end of the turn". (This is effective from July 10, 2014.)[1]
TCG Rulings
These TCG rulings were issued by Konami before the introduction of Problem-Solving Card Text. Since the introduction of the new text structure, individual card rulings for the TCG are no longer issued or actively maintained.[3] They have never been formally overturned as a whole and can still be correct, as long as they follow the official gameplay rules and do not contradict card text. |
- You cannot activate this card during the Damage Step. You cannot activate it if you only control 1 "Scrap" monster.[2]

Rules posted online will be limited to super-complicated and really weird situations. Imagine going down to a dozen pages of card rules, instead of a thousand. It could happen.
