I used ultimate baseball kid, who has an original attak of 500, which at the time had 3500 attack, and I had magic cyilider used on me after I attepmted to attack a monster on my opponents side of the field. In my turn I attacked the monster then he activated his magic cylinder on me.

Do I loose:

-500 Life points or

- 3500 life points.

So regardless of wether my opponent has monsters on the field, and the fact i do too, I still take 3500 LP of direct damage?

I have a question:if i use magic cylinder on my opponents fusion monster and he chain it to de-fusion,returning his fusion monster, does the effect of magic cylinder still apply?

No, since Magic Cylinder targets the attacking monster, but when the chain resolves the attacking monster is no more in play since Defusion returns it into the Extra Deck. User: Gilbert Gosseyn III 1.05 AM (GMT +1), 29 Mai 2009.

People, it's better to ask questions on the Forum, since more people visit there. --Deus Ex Machina (Talk) 03:16, 28 May 2009 (UTC)

What is the type of damage Magic Cylinder inflicts?[edit]

I didn't want to edit the rulings without first ask this to the "experts". Is this damge Effect Damage?

  • Yes. Effect Damage.
