Card Tips:Gladiator Beast Retiari
- This card can be searched by any "Gladiator Beast" monster (except "Andal", "Essedarii", "Heraklinos", "Octavius", "Torax" and another copy of itself), "Test Panther", "Test Tiger", "Gladiator Rejection", "Gladiator Proving Ground", "Test Ape", "Double Tag Team", "Flying Red Carp", "Underworld Egg Clutch", "Deep Sea Prima Donna", "Mermail Abysspike", "Mother Grizzly", "Ice Mirror", "Eria the Water Charmer, Gentle", "Big Whale", "Mermail Abyssalacia", "Shark Cruiser", "Sphere of Chaos", "Serpentine Princess", "Battle Royal Mode - Joining", "Vampire Dragon", "Rescue Ferret", "Umbramirage the Elemental Lord", "Sangan", "Witch of the Black Forest", and other generic searchers.
- This card is most useful against decks that feature monsters that Special Summon themselves from the Graveyard like "Felgrand Dragon" and "Darkblaze Dragon".
- This card is also useful for banishing cards like DARK monsters used for "Dark Armed Dragon" or cards like "Destiny HERO - Malicious" and "Plaguespreader Zombie" before they can activate their effects by tagging out during the end of the battle phase.
- This card is useful against Lightsworn decks. By using it to banish different Lightsworn monsters from the opponent's graveyard, you can prevent "Judgment Dragon" from being summoned, and banish potential targets for "Lumina, Lightsworn Summoner" or "Plaguespreader Zombie" to prevent Synchro Summoning.
- If your opponent has a "Stardust Dragon", and you have two Gladiator Beasts, use "Waboku" and ram them both. At the end of the Battle Phase, summon "Gladiator Beast Murmillo" to have your opponent chain with their "Stardust Dragon's" effect, then summon "Gladiator Beast Retiari" in the same turn to banish "Stardust Dragon".
Traditional Format[edit]
- This card can be searched by "Last Will".
