- You can get multiple uses out of this card if you use "Miracle Dig" and/or "Burial from a Different Dimension" to return it into play.
- Beware of "Imperial Iron Wall"; it prevents this card from banishing itself from the Graveyard, which is essential to Special Summon a "Red-Eyes" monster.
- You can use "Hand Destruction" to send this card and "Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon" from your hand to the Graveyard, and assuming that you don't Normal Summon/Set anything during that turn, you can bring back the discarded "Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon".
- After a "Red-Eyes card" is destroyed, you can use "Foolish Burial" to bring this card to the Graveyard and at your End Phase, Special Summon the lost "Red-Eyes".
- Use "Dragon Shrine" to send "Red-Eyes Black Dragon" to the Graveyard and then "Red-Eyes Wyvern" to the Graveyard. The effect of "Red-Eyes Wyvern" will then allow you to Summon "Red-Eyes Black Dragon" in your End Phase.
- Keep in mind that you can not Normal Summon/Set a monster, but you can still Special Summon multiple monsters on the turn that you want to use this monster's effect.
Traditional Format[edit]
- You can send up to 3 copies of this card and some "Red-Eyes" Dragons (including itself) to the Graveyard with "Future Fusion" by selecting "Five-Headed Dragon" as the monster you want to Summon with it.
- You can also use "Future Fusion" to send one "Red-Eyes Wyvern", one other "Red Eyes" monster, such as "Red Eyes Black Dragon" or "Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon", along with three "White Stone of Legend" for "Five-Headed Dragon". This will put 3 "Blue-Eyes White Dragons" in your hand via the effect of "White Stone of Legend". And at the end of the turn, provided you don't Normal Summon/Set, you can banish "Red Eyes Wyvern" to revive the other "Red Eyes" monster.
- You can use "Dragon Ravine" to discard this card from your hand, and send one "Red-Eyes" monster from your Deck to your Graveyard, and then use the effect of "Wyvern" to Summon that monster.
- You can use "Ultimate Offering" to Normal Summon/Set a monster during your opponent's turn, which will get around the requirement for this card's Summoning effect.
