- This card isn't only useful against Dragon Decks — many Decks, especially ones that use Synchros, will have a few Dragon-Type monsters in their Graveyard that can be revived. Synchro-heavy Decks this can be used against, include "Infernity", "Scrap" and "Dragunity".
- This can be used to revive the opponent's "Stardust Dragon" before the opponent can revive it with its own effect. You can use a card such as "Dark Hole" as a decoy then your opponent will Tribute "Stardust Dragon".
- This card can be used with "Double Summon", "Photon Lead" or "Valhalla, Hall of the Fallen" to Summon 2 copies of itself, creating a lock, preventing the opponent from attacking either of them, or any of Fairy-Type monsters.

- This card can also be used to easily Xyz Summon "Queen Dragun Djinn", by stealing "Eclipse Wyvern", also ensuring that the opponent cannot reclaim any Dragon previously banished by "Eclipse Wyvern".
- By Special Summoning the opponent's "Lightpulsar Dragon" with this card and another Level 6 Dragon with "Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon" or "Queen Dragun Djinn", "Hieratic Dragon King of Atum" can be easily Summoned without triggering the effect of "Lightpulsar Dragon".
- The opponent's "Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon" can be Special Summoned with this card to activate its effect, banishing itself allowing the player to Special Summon their own and activate its effect as well. This is can swarm the field or help perform Xyz Summons. "Dragon's Rebirth" can also be used to perform this.
