• This card's name literally means "Dragon's Child" (竜の子) in Japanese and Chinese, as this monster is a young dragon. It also looks like a seahorse (Japanese: 竜の落とし子 tatsu no otoshigo, lit. "dragon's lost child"); this may reference a piece of Japanese lore, which states that a seahorse becomes a dragon after a hundred years.
• This is the first Wyrm-Type Tuner Synchro Monster.
