1. I set a "Royal Decree" in the field and then I activated "Bait Doll" targeting my recently set trap card forcibly activating it. My question is is it legal to do that?

2. I activated "Bait Doll" targeting my opponent set S/T card. It happened to be "Karma Cut". Will my opponent pay the cost for "Karma Cut" or not since "Bait Doll" activated it?

Thx in advance. (^^) --SilentHero26 10:10, March 5, 2010 (UTC)

Card Rulings:Bait Doll

  • "If you use this card on a Trap Card that was just Set this turn, the timing is incorrect so the Trap is destroyed."
  • "If you use this card and activate a Trap Card with a cost, and that Trap Card's activation timing is correct, its owner must pay all possible costs. If they cannot pay the costs, the Trap Card is negated and destroyed."

What happen if you chain to bait doll effect to destroy bait doll would bait doll still return to the owner deck?96.44.82.53 (talk) 23:54, October 4, 2010 (UTC)

Bait Doll is a Normal Spell Card it cannot be chained to anything.-- HHTurtle Talk   02:09, October 5, 2010 (UTC)

it depends on the chained cards after Bait Doll was activated. It says when this card was activated when Bait Doll's activation and effect is activated then the card will return back to the deck... IF it the cards activation was Negated therefore the card will not be sent to deck. --Xeattle02 (talkcontribs) 08:14, October 5, 2010 (UTC)

Form the Card Rulings of Bait Doll: "If the target of "Bait Doll" is no longer on the field (if it was sent to the Graveyard with "Emergency Provisions", or destroyed by "Mystical Space Typhoon", as a chain to the activation of "Bait Doll"), then "Bait Doll" is still shuffled back into the Deck. As long as the activation and effect of "Bait Doll" are not negated, the effect of "Bait Doll" that shuffles it back into the Deck still resolves."-- HHTurtle Talk   11:38, October 5, 2010 (UTC)
