Forum:Basic Dragunity Deck

Hey Guys, I making a Dragunity Deck and need a little help constructing it. This deck is simply for fun. As a guide, the decks I will be vs. are: "LVs" and Zombie Darkworlds.

It's really not worth using any of the Dragunity Tuners other than Aklys and Phalanx. You always should have three Dragunity Legionnaire. Leyvaten probably isn't necessary. Blackwing - Zephyros the Elite is great. Instead of Field Barrier, Terraforming would be good (three). Seven Tools is pretty useless this format - just use Mystical Space Typhoon. The Level 7 and 8 Dragunity Synchro Monsters are not very good. More staple Synchro Monsters would help the deck. BF2 Talk Deck Guides 17:32, November 25, 2011 (UTC)

Militum is useless as it doesn't equip Dragunities to itself. Brandistock is useless because you're better off with a Legionnaire-Aklys combo or a Synchro Summon with Dux. Darkspear doesn't help much since there isn't anything you need to bring back. Javelin just isn't any good. Militum isn't bad but it doesn't help either. Tribus isn't needed with Dragon Ravine and Foolish Burial. Leyvaten just isn't that useful. You really do not need Field Barrier - it's dead weight a lot of the time. Terraforming would be much more useful. Dragon Mastery doesn't help your Dragunities much. Seven Tools is a waste of your Life Points when you can just prevent stuff with Mystical Space Typhoon. Trap Stun and Jammer are both unneeded - you need Torrential Tribute and Debunk (to negate Veiler, Maxx "C", D.D. Crow). You really need Dragunity Legionnaire. Blackwing - Zephyros the Elite is amazing.

As for your Extra Deck:

• You can't summon Barcha in this deck. You don't have any Level 6 Winged Beast-Type monsters.
• The same goes for Trident. Even with Vortex it's not very good.
• Gae Bulg is not a very good card as it only gains ATK.
• You should max out Vajrayana as it is amazing.
• Vortex the Whirlwind is not very good in Dragunities.
• Red Dragon Archfiend and Flamvell Uruquizas are sub par
• Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier, Orient Dragon, T.G. Hyper Librarian, Ally of Justice Catastor, Colossal Fighter, Thought Ruler Archfiend, and Scrap Dragon would improve the deck so much. BF2 Talk Deck Guides 16:16, November 30, 2011 (UTC)

Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier and Torrential Tribute are Limited, so you can only have 1 in your extra deck/main deck. You might want to check out the most recent banlist. Just so you know, Colossal Fighter is pretty cheap ($3 each on Amazon), add at least 1 of him and I think a Red Dragon Archfiend to replace 1 Black-Winged Dragon. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 03:05, December 4, 2011 (UTC)

Colossal Fighter isn't really for warrior decks, its used against them. Anyway the ATK boost is not important, the true worth of that card lies in its invincibility in battle. IPlay4Fun (talk • contribs) 08:46, December 8, 2011 (UTC)
