I just started dueling again after some time and well i have a question and i would like from someone to clear it up please. For the monster Black Rose Dragon the text says 'When this card is Synchro Summoned, you can destroy all cards on the field. Once per turn, you can remove from play 1 Plant-Type monster from your Graveyard to change 1 Defense Position monster your opponent controls to face-up Attack Position, and reduce its ATK to 0 until the End Phase.' Ok, when it says that you can destroy all cards in the field, does this include Black Rose Dragon it self? Thank you for any help guys

Yep. It's a little thing famous with Black Rose Dragon that most duelists out there like to refer to it has "bombing the field".--Yugioh DED (talkcontribs) 03:24, July 2, 2010 (UTC)

Yes, it also destroys itself.-- HHTurtle  (Talk) 03:25, July 2, 2010 (UTC)

Then whats the purpose of the card if only to destroy itself in the end?

Nuking the whole field at the right time is very dangerous thing and can be worth destroying itself.-- HHTurtle  (Talk) 03:29, July 2, 2010 (UTC)

really? How? I would like to know cause im trying to experiment with a synchro deck and know some tips and comobo would be very helpful

What do you mean "how"? Your opponent has about 6-8 cards on the field, then you blow all of them up with just one Black Rose Dragon. What more do you want?-- HHTurtle  (Talk) 03:32, July 2, 2010 (UTC)

I meant HOW as in HOW would it be beneficial to me. Thats what i wanted to know.

Blowing a lot of your opponent's cards with just ONE card is not enough for you??? Then, there's just no pleasing you, is there?-- HHTurtle  (Talk) 03:38, July 2, 2010 (UTC)

Hey who ever you are, there is no need to act like a butt dude.... I just needed some advice. Relax

I'm just a bit annoyed by the fact that you won't sign your post.-- HHTurtle  (Talk) 03:41, July 2, 2010 (UTC)

I dont know how to dude, this is my FIRST time ever posting anything like this.

I already told you how. just put four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your post.-- HHTurtle  (Talk) 04:41, July 2, 2010 (UTC)

Nuking the field with the cost of one synchro summon, when the opponent has control of the field, is beneficial to you because it allows you a good chance to turn the tables. not to mention, it's possible to summon a monster after you blow up the field. (That's partly the reason why Monster Reborn was rebanned) Thorn of RosenYubel (talkcontribs) 06:29, July 2, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks everyone for helping me out. even the rude dude.68.93.67.231 (talk) 22:27, July 2, 2010 (UTC)

Well, I wouldn't say it turns the tables. More like it holds the table still.--Yugioh DED (talkcontribs) 00:27, July 3, 2010 (UTC)

It actually helped dude! last night i was dueling a friend with a machina deck and it gave me the upper hand!Theduelist88 (talkcontribs) 00:37, July 3, 2010 (UTC)

I'm guessing you're the guy who didn't sign his name. And nice. Now just watch out in every duel you play at Regionals they don't pull out one on you. I speak out to everyone when I say that for Black Rose Dragon and Stardust Dragon, have a Divine Wrath ready!!--Yugioh DED (talkcontribs) 05:14, July 3, 2010 (UTC)

Woulndt Stardust be able to negate Divine Wrath's effect69.150.21.177 (talk) 04:32, July 5, 2010 (UTC)

No it wouldn't. Your chaining divine wrath to stardust already negating a effect. He can't negate twice in the same chain.Latiosking (talkcontribs) 05:03, July 5, 2010 (UTC)

And just to make sure we're covering anything he could possibly be talking about, Stardust Dragon's effect is a Quick Effect, which is Spell Speed 2. Counter Traps like Divine Wrath, which are Spell Speed 3, can only be countered by other Counter Traps. See Spell Speed for more information. --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 05:15, July 5, 2010 (UTC)

Oh yeah that's right. But it wouldn't matter because Stardust can't negate Divine Wrath, and two, if Stardust negates something, I'll use Divine Wrath. I guess Divine Wrath is one of those very few cards that destroys Stardust while Stardust can't do anything about it.--Yugioh DED (talkcontribs) 06:21, July 5, 2010 (UTC)
